Memo to Najee Harris

Can you stop trying to hurdle over defenders ? We know you're a great athlete and all, especially trying that crap in a preseason game.

 

That is cool to watch as long as it's not a Steeler doing it. When I saw that my first thought was we drafted a RB who is going to be injured a lot.

I can remember Troy P. did it once in awhile. I've seen Mahomes do it more then once and if I was a KC fan I'd have been freaking out. When I thought the Steelers might be playing them in the Playoffs I must admit I was hoping he sprained something doing it but then again we know how the Steelers have faired over the years when back up QB's take over.

Bell used to try to hurdle people before he had his first knee injury. I think players that ran track think they can pull it off. When it works, it's a spectacular play. But the potential negatives far outweigh the positives. I hope the coaches can convince not to do it anymore.

 

Najee has great instincts. To me, he should use them regardless of circumstance. The risk of injury is always going to be there whether you are hurdling defenders, or trying to step out of bounds.

Memo to Tomlin: Stop risking your franchise back in meaningless preseason games.

Hurdling is unnecessary

 

I loved Kinnison back in the day. I think I remember the bit, but the memory isn't what it used to be. Too much useless crap getting in the way of more important stuff. Wish there was a way of cleaning out useless memory.

 

I guess all those rookie franchise QBs shouldn't be playing in the preseason either .

 

QBs don't get tackled, often ending up at the bottom of piles, every time they touch the ball. And the plan for some of them, particularly Fields, is to have him sit for the year and learn.

Najee's going to carry the load from day 1 and there's nobody close to him on the roster.

Got hit in the back on a high throw and tried to hurdle a guy on one that got called back.

Doesn't matter if it's one carry if he goes down. He'll be in midseason form by the middle of the 2nd quarter of the opener, don't risk him.

Literally every media person in Pittsburgh is saying the same thing. It makes no sense.

 

Bullsh!t. You could say the same thing for every game 1 starter that gets a hat during preseason. Once again, this is just another lame subject for you to use as a potential way to bludgeon Tomlin. Get over it already.

 

Jacksonville played the other back everyone loved out of Clemson. Heck I can't remember his name. M&M, or something.

 

Marshall Mathers? Maybe he'll rap out "Stan" for us.

 

That's Urban Meyer's problem. He also said he's going to use RBBC, we're going to rely almost solely on Harris from day one.

 

I'm just saying....We are not the only team doing it. Right ,or wrong.
