I was 4 years old when Ike left office so I don't really remember him being president but I remember when he died when I was 12 because we got the day off of school.

There are Washington trail signs all through Slippery Rock. A college girl asked me if George Washington used to live in Slippery Rock. I told her yes that there was a major tank battle on the northern part of town where Washington's tanks defeated the German tanks which lead to America winning it's independence over Nazi Germany. She just said "Yeah I remember reading something about that in high school". She had no clue.

It’s a choke hold from behind that makes your opponent pass out then a WWF crowd goes wild while you pin him.

Joe Greene was why I became a Steelers fan, but Franco was why I became a Steelers fan for life.

I was disappointed when the Steelers drafted Franco over Lydell Mitchell who was the bigger star at Penn State. My dad told me that Franco would be the better pro player because his style of running was better suited for the NFL. I guess the old man knew a lot more than I thought he did at the time.

Franco always reminds me of the stupid things young people do. We were goofing off and I'm sure annoying people outside the stadium when he made the catch. We couldn't understand what the hell people were cheering about and being young and dumb we thought the huge roar was from the 5-10 Raider fans we saw going to the game.

Under appreciated superstar. Help ended Earl Campbell's career. Earl was
/is still the best big back I have ever seen. I have been watching pro football for over 50 years.

Got you beat by over 10 years youngster. I'd go with Jimmy Brown. A man amongst boys at the time. He wasn't bad in the Dirty Dozen either. :smiley1:

If they get Hilton in coverage, he will probably have some bad games.
