Spillane is a plug. If he has to see significant playing time this year, this defense is in real trouble.

 

Once the regular season starts Spillane shouldn't be on the field for third and passing downs.

 

Pierre and Gilbert are getting roasted severely by Cedric Wilson. Pierre has to bump him a bit more in order to win.

 

The sad truth: they are almost certainly not targeting Spillane.

Let me guess; Spillane get the tackle after a 13 yard pickup on 3rd down.

 

and it'll only get worse as the game goes on. By the 4th quarter they;ll be interviewing someone and barely even show the play. And, I think I prefer CBS's broadcast in general. They seem to have better camera work

That Placekicker might be playing his way out of the league...that's 2 low kicks on pretty short FG's. Of course no replays so we can't tell if he's getting decent holds.
