Hall Of Fame Game Thursday....

Will we see any of Ben during the game?

 

Barely any starters will play is my guess. Doubt Ben even dresses. Najee shouldn't get more than a series.

 

Not really excited about the game. I doubt it will be played hard but of course I'll be watching.

 

I'm excited to see how this meshed OLine performs as a unit in a game setting.

What OL? 3/5 of them haven't practiced together yet.

 

I always get pumped for the 1st preseason game!!

And then after the 1st game, the wait until regular season feels super long.

I'm looking forward to seeing the other QBs play.

Not that I want to see punters on the field often, but I am also looking forward to seeing the punter battle.

 

Someone needs to tell the Fox netwrk, they are billing it as Ben vs Dak..lol

 

I think they should keep 22 out until the oline is sorted out and Ben plays.

 

I hate it when they say stupid stuff like that. It's not QB vs. QB even in the regular season.

 

Most that will play probably won't be donning Black & Gold come the regular season.

But it's Steelers Football and hopefully we can see a few diamonds in the rough that make the squad.

 

I doubt Dak’s playing either.

 

If I was a betting Man...which I am, I also say He's not going 2 play.

 

Dak hurt his shoulder in practice last week, there's a good chance he won't even travel with the team to Ohio.

Big Ben will not be seen until the third game I am afraid. It is customary for starting QBs not to play until the "tune up" game; some actually only playing a series or two of that. If anything, most of the starters only play up to a Quarter; a half at most.



For me, Thursday is going to be very exciting honestly. Cannot wait to see the likes of James Pierre, Quincy Roche, Najee Harris, Dan Moore Jr., Kendrick Green, Stephen Denmark, Rico Bussey and others in action. The road to 53 will begin then. Cannot wait!!!!

Forgot about UG3, Buddy Johnson, Calvin Bundage, Shakur Brown, Antoine Brooks Jr, Carols Davis, Henry Mondeaux, Isaiah Loudermilk and Pat Freiermuth!!!

 

I want to see the young guys in the secondary play, I doubt we will see the starting OL.

 

Tomlin said Green would start but to your point I doubt we see Banner, Dotson, and Chuks. Maybe Turner if he still isn't looking good so they can get a better read on him.

 

I think our starting OL against the Cowgirls will be:

Moore Jr. - Coward - Green - Turner - Haeg

 

chaz green, moore, haeg, coyle may be seen on either side of the o-line i have a feeling. it would be nice to see what they can do at left and right tackle and their capability. that is what we need to see from the main backup. can he play both.
