I see the Plandemic scamdemic continues. I have a 99.6% chance of surviving this illness. Why do I need a vaccine? And if you are vaccinated then why worry about me??

The more the media pushes this issue the more I resist due to wondering what the agenda is.
I don't trust any of the numbers they throw out there.

You're right the whole world was in on a global conspiracy to bring down one figure. Even the really poor countries. Carry on.

If people have legit concerns about their health about getting the vaccine, that’s one thing, people spreading wild conspiracy theories like being magnetized or having chips in them to track people or people politicalizing the vaccine can go kick rocks and you’d have to be naive as hell to think that isn’t happening.

Not on FB right now. Just triple mask already while I enjoy not getting my shot which has ailed my mother ever since.

I had a long response. Realized that no matter how I tried to toe the line, it was going to come off as political (even if I was only illustrating my previous point. NOT taking sides on either side of the aisle). I have to follow our rules too, after all.

I'll just say this. The Venn Diagram of those refusing the vaccine, and even campaigning against it. Of those arguing against any measures at all to mitigate Covid. And those who wear red hats is pretty much a solid circle. Yes. A lot of it IS political in nature. And that is ridiculous. This should have never been political at all. That it became political is what really sticks in my craw. But to spell out why would probably get too political for our board's rules. I'll just say there's certain bed fellows I resent being forced to side with. ;)

The "certain people" I was referring to were pundits and politicians who very much did do their damnedest to sow doubt and antipathy towards Covid in general, any mitigation measures, and the vaccines. They'd be coy and pay lip service for a minute or 2 about how people could get one if they felt comfortable... and then spend the rest of their hour each night making sure their viewers would never be comfortable. But in the past few days, several of those people, and a few politicians have reversed course. Suddenly, it's serious. Suddenly, they're urging people to go get the shot. Again, I could speculate on the reason for the change of attitude. But I really don't care. I'm just glad they're not blowing smoke anymore.

I know someone who says they weren’t feeling well because they were recently around someone who had the vaccination.

As a electrician I'm probably more magnetized than most, the ac motor & such. I've had the vaccine for awhile & my screwdrivers aren't sticking to me yet.

My dad thought it was all BS. He listened to the people that Ray is alluding to. Even though he’s in his 70’s, he felt invulnerable because he was in shape, worked out regularly and lived life with the vitality of a 40 year old. He took risks and was initially hesitant about the vaccine, even while his friends were getting it and having no adverse effects. He got COVID back in the February peak. Ironically, he had gotten past his hesitancy and was diagnosed 2 days before his scheduled vaccination. After 5 nights in the hospital, he came home on supplemental oxygen, and has been on it 24/7 ever since. His lungs are pretty much destroyed, and I’ve been going to doctors appointments with him to see different specialists, looking for someone who can figure out a path to recovery. So far the message has been that the damage is scarring and cannot be reversed. You better bet your ass that he doesn’t think it’s a plandemic now. Based on his personal health and family history, his life expectancy was at least late 80’s. He’ll likely be gone in the next couple of years, but probably won’t be counted as a COVID death.

My mom also contracted COVID in January and spent 5 nights in a Florida hospital. At first there were concerns that her kidneys had been damaged by low oxygen saturation in her blood, but after 3 days on meds and fluids she rebounded and is OK now. My stepfather also had it at the same time and spent a night in the hospital, but he never got to the critical point.

Those are the most significant cases close to me. I also have a close friend who lost a friend in his 40’s to it, and another friend of the family in her 50’s passed away from COVID. I didn’t know those people well. They were just casual acquaintances, but they certainly present a constant reminder that this isn’t all BS.

I’ll just say this: when people call COVID a plandemic it makes me see red. My dad in Connecticut went into the hospital with COVID a day after my mother in Florida was released from the hospital. I went through 2 weeks of hell, concerned first that one parent, and then the other, may die from COVID. It sucked, and it was avoidable because the one thing that they had in common was that they listened to the political pundits who publicly and vociferously doubted that COVID was a serious problem, and they weren’t cautious enough as a result.

I'll just say this, for me its not even worth arguing abt any longer , also the CDC came out and said yesterday that they would not change their guidelines concerning Covid, but u can bet that will change since a certain someone was on tv babbleing abt how he expects them to change their guidelines just the night b4.
....also you cant be legitamaly be concerned abt the spread of covid , if your allow a million people come across the border with out being tested .... JMO....

I got vaccinated. For me, I think it was the right thing. My choice. I no longer wear a mask unless asked to or where it’s just courteous. I also have no right to tell anyone else what to stick in their bodies. As long as they are not spreading the virus.

because everything is static. There are no variables that change plans. At this point there’s no reason for people to wear masks. 6 weeks later people should wear masks Amd social distance. Oh my god you lied! You lied to us! You said we didn’t have to wear masks. #dumbasses

I think I will get the shot and wear the mask and then wear a fox shirt that says don't let them take your rights away.. That should cover all the bases I think ..On the 4 real though the NFL is doing what it thinks is best to protect it's product it really doesn't matter what we think or what the players think they are the product ..The boss wants the games to play and keep the money rolling in they have decided that getting the shot is the best way to do that, whether that is right or wrong really makes no difference..
