Meh. The narrator was a bit odd to me.

    Bad John Facenda impersonation.

Re: the game, was gonna say it should have been a harbinger of how Tomlin prepares for bad teams, but then I remembered they lost at home to the 1-8 Jets the week before.

The unprepared for playoff games harbinger came a few weeks later vs. David Garrard and the Jags.

that was the game that a punt stuck nose first into the turf after coming down right? Best punt ever

    No different game I believe.
That game with the punt was with Bill as coach

How was anyone going to prepare for the convergence of multiple field-destroying games that weekend, followed by torrential rains?
Unprecedented, unless you can point out a game with similar conditions where the teams could still move the ball.

And don't pretend that stuff like this only happens to the Steelers.
The Ravens, 13-3 the previous season, were the only team to lose to Miami in 2007

It happens more to Tomlin than anyone else.

Bad weather games happen all the time, I don't know how many so-called contenders would struggle in one vs. an 0-10 team.

Disagree, potentially the second best. The best punt, one in which I hope the results are repeated during every punt, is the one that bounced off the San Diego player running down the field. Result was a first down for the Steelers.

Did we not have a punt stick in a game against Miami with Bill as our coach in a freaking Hurricane???

That was Ben's first game as starting QB in 2004. Maddox started the previous week vs. Ravens before he got hurt.

Remember it clearly. It happened more than once that year as I recall - can't remember our horrid punter back then but I turned to my brother and said - "This is a brand new concept - the onside punt!" LOL.
