Coca-cola was made to go with pizza, don’t know how anyone eats pizza without a coke to go with it :lolol:

I do have something positive to say about Sean Mahan. After practice at Latrobe he walked up to my grandson who was 9 years old at the time and handed him his lineman gloves. My grandson put them in a glass case along with the autographs he had gotten that day.

I’ve heard a rumor that some people drink a beer with a pizza?

Don’t like that combination, I find beer to go well with pretzels otherwise I drink beer to get drunk.

I just don't like pops. All that fizzy stuff. Burns my throat, and makes me burp. LoL. Give me Juice , Ice Tea, or Both mixed.

Thanks. My grandson was excited to get the gloves but also his autograph from Charlie Batch. Batch just didn't sign a piece of paper and move on, he would stop and talk to each kid and ask them where they went to school, what grade they were in etc. He really made it special for the kids.

As much as those guys proved to be a bad fit for the Steelers it still can't compare to watching Thomas in a two point stance and when the ball was snapped just stood up. He didn't engage an Olineman, didn't get in on the play, he just stood there damnest thing I've ever watched.

    # 61 is not a biggie so it turned into post of heaven, beer, pizza, rum, fizzy pop, etc. etc.

We need a future HOFer to wear 61 to give it some respect.

    Jeff Hartings-Good FA signing
    James Farrior -Excellent FA signing
    Ryan Clark-Excellent FA signing
    Kimo Von Olhoffen-Good FA signing

So there are some solid ones in the past, but its been a long time since we made a good FA signing move

upload_2021-7-14_10-0-23.jpeg Ben McGee (Some of you older timers tell us about McGee). He started 14 games at RDT in 1972, the first year I was truly passionate about the Steelers as a young fan).

Ben McGee was an All-Pro DE in the mid to late 1960's. He along with Lloyd Voss and rookies Joe Greene and LC Greenwood gave the Steelers a pretty good defensive line in 1969.

He was a late preseason cut by the Browns and since he was a veteran he didn't have to go through waviers. Steelers were in Carolina for the annual preseason game. KC and the staff got Haden in and signed before like a Thursday preseason game and he joined the team in Carolina but just to be with the team. I don't think his FA status was more than a day if memory serves me.

He never played so I'm going to have to look up his name now but he was pretty good for Green Bay... Give me a minute.

    Edit: Morgan Burnette (Terrell's mentor...lol)
