    The Glee club?

The one that sings dirges. Maybe roll some video of our failures in the playoffs under Tomin while they sing sad songs of futility. Might go viral.

    LOL.

Yes you do. Anybody actually paying attention and not a blind homer would fall into that category.

That's very under market for combat pay Doc. You should see what Grey Poupon or French's will pay. :lolol:

    I mean... he's not wrong.

Ahh the player that dragged Tomlin and praised Belicheat. How do you maneuver around that one?

it seems to have passed, The league when they changed rules and stuff
has changed football for ever. Being old school and growing up in the dynasty years
really puts a damper on the way I grew up playing and watching football.

Exactly how I feel. I wasn't old enough to enjoy the dynasty years. I didn't even consider myself "old school" until things changed so drastically.

I agree with Wardismvp the rules are setup to give all the advantage to the offense and to make some effort to protect the players.
Intimidation has been almost removed from the game , and I miss that part of it. But the reality is with todays players being as big and fast as they are someone would get killed if they continued to blow up receivers like they used to.
It's bad enough the league has taken the teeth out of the defenses, but the offensive schemes with the quick release dink n dunk 5 yd passes is terrible to watch. Most of todays short passing routes are designed around some type of pick but they never call it or it is run to perfection where it's a pick without being a pick.
Watt is a great OLB and teams fear him, but they fear him getting a sack or a tackle for a loss. They don't fear him like they did Harrison, or Lloyd or Lambert all those guys played on the edge of pure violence.
    Its a different game now.

Same, but my dad felt the same about football in the 70's compared to what he watched growing up. We're all biased to what we grew up watching as being the pinnacle, like me with 14-game seasons and Farrah Fawcett.

I think Tomlin is a fine coach. I didn't say great. It's a whole new world boys. We're now seeing the generation of players who don't remember the world without internet. Their perspective on life is completely skewed from us Gen X and older fans. You older guys (including me) need to understand the world has changed DRASTICALLY. We don't have to like it, but understand it.

Whenever I see one of these snarky "Translation:" replies, I can't help but thinking the person who wrote it is telling on themselves.
