Been saying this since 2016 when I got here. Pick the player and not the position. Personally, I had JOKer higher than Najee but ARII was adamant about fixing the Running Game; Tomlin and Colbert included. Najee must have been rated higher on their board and, as a result, he was the pick.

He played both LT and RT for Oklahoma State.

He has good hands and footwork to work the left side. The concern with him is arm length but he makes up for it with his foot work and hands plus the guy is 6'6" not exactly small.

And the guy has a mean streak the rest of the Oline would feed off of.

Given the value and our needs at LT think missed big there. Definitely an upgrade over Okorafor and would have started day 1.

Notice how he was easily caught by a guy that was 30 yards from him?

I love Jenkins.. but I didn't see the feet to be a top LT. I had him as the best RT in the draft. Im sure he could play guard.. but I think he is pure RT.

He's 230 pounds, he's not a speedster, if he can help the Steelers in short yardage that would be good.

That's the 'experts' opinion but I think he's going to prove people wrong that align with that viewpoint.

It'll be interesting to see where he lands i disagree with the footwork assessment. Even in pass protection the man gets the upper hand and places defenders in the dirt.

I'm glad the Ravens didn't take Jenkins, they drafted a edge rusher who had no sacks last season .

Ok now you have to counter move the Ravens pick.
An OLineman that can handle him.

    Jayson Oweh?! Really?!

I should not be shocked but Baltimore... really?! What an odd pick.

I mean you kind of have to with the number one and an extra I. The first!

Oweh going to Baltimore is not making me happy though...

Yeah losing your tackle, adding a not strong running game tackle in FA. 2 picks in the first WR and Edge?!

That’s all he really throws to anyway. They want to field a bunch of basically TEs and make teams cover them while they get blocked and Lamar runs all over!

Wait now...so the blocking getting blown up, he bounces off that, gets to the outside, hurdles a dude and gets pushed out, not brought down by the second guy that was charging from the angle.

yeah he easily was hawked down by a guy...lmao!

Najee is not the first rounder that we need, but he is the one we deserve

If Christian Darrisaw were available by that point I would agree. Sadly though, I cannot here. Benny Snell is essentially the guy heading into 2020 if Harris is not the pick. Benny is a short yardage back and not a complete one. Najee outclasses him in every way.

That said, I seriously hope a trade up in Round 2 is going to happen.

Why are people acting as if Jayson Oweh is the second coming of Danielle Hunter?! Danielle Hunter was overlooked due to his lack of consistency heading into the draft. Jayson Oweh's issue stems from his lack of improvement from 2019 to 2020 where he should have taken off. He did not.

For that matter, he is far more one dimensional coming out than Hunter ever was. Penn State used Oweh exclusively as a pure pass rusher. Hunter was used some in coverage at LSU. If anything, Jayson Oweh is a turbocharged Bud Dupree for both the good and bad; his ceiling being bigger than Dupree's ever was while being far lower than Dupree's was as well.

The guy that caught him had an angle and ran track in high school. Harris does not have breakaway speed. We all know this but neither did Le'Veon and that did not stop him from putting up 96+ scrimmage yards a game for 5 years. Harris is faster than Le'veon too, he will be fine.

The Steelers got the best RB in the draft, he's also a good pass catcher, now draft some OL to help in short yardage situations :steelflag:.
