If Tevin Jenkins is available at 24, do you still pick Najee Harris?
I say pick Jenkins who can pave the way for any runner. Without blockers like Jenkins Harris won't help.

I am torn on this. This draft is supposedly VERY deep for OL. Harris is supposedly a borderline generational talent. While that may be up in the air you can take the #1 back in the nation or get an OL that is the considered to be the 5th best OL in the draft. I think you have to go with Harris at this point. They both fit a need but Hariis is clearly the BPA out of the 2 and possibly the BPA overall if he's there at 24.

If Jesus Christ is available at 24, you still pick OL. We need someone to part the DL, not the Red Sea.

He’s a bit on the skinny side. Maybe a couple years in the league will bulk him up. I think I’d take a chance on him. A player whose dad can directly influence how the other team plays comes once every 2000 years or so.

He'd also be really helpful during team dinners and he wouldn't have to change cleats if the turf is really wet.

Certainly wouldn’t hate Jenkins or any good OT at 1.24. in fact I’d have no objection if their first two picks are OLine

My feeling however is that they think they have their starters in Banner and Okorafor and they’ll go another way, probably RB

I love Jenkins.. but to me he is more RT than LT......I might lean LT Darrisaw over Harris.... but I'll take Harris over RT Jenkins

I would smile with that, but still like Najee as well. That said if Zaven Collins is there you have to take a long hard look...I just think of the great Steeler LB 4 packs and he fits that mold.. TJ, Bush Highsmith and Collins could be a terrorizing 4 some.

YES....Really like Collins...This Dude is really all over the place... Generally mocked top 15, But then I've seen mocks where he's available at #24...Or even later!

    Generational? Harris?

How long is a generation? Adrian Peterson is still playing, and nobody's saying he's even in his class.

Najee's a 4-5 year player in Pittsburgh, max. The roster is getting decimated next offseason and will have to be completely rebuilt. Not sure the point in drafting a guy who will be gone by the time they're ready to compete again.

His combine was good, 22 reps on the table-flip and a good time in the 40 meter whip chase.

I have been loosening my position on this. I wld be fine with a first round offensive line pick if in the second we can get Javonte Williams, even Sermon or Gainwell I wld be ok with in the third... I think what I am saying is I wld like an offensive lineman and a running back within the first three rounds,

Based on where we pick, it kinda limits options. LT, or CB is most likely and will all depend on who falls. As much as I love the idea of Najee in black and gold, it’s just not a good first round pick with all the other priorities, and no chance he falls to late 2nd. So I like LT or CB value (or even Edge) at 1.24 - whoever falls to us. Either trade up in 2nd for Javonte Williams to get the back, or see who falls to the 3rd after we grab Humphrey or another lineman in the 2nd. Would Love to have a LT, CB, C and RB in first 4 rounds but its gonna mean we got super lucky with BPA picks.

ME: Would you like a possible 10 year all pro RB that might end up in the HOF?

TALKING HEADS: I don't know.. what round did I draft him in?

Trade back out of the first then and get another pick, and still get your RB. Don’t need the 5th year option, and btw most people don’t even have any of these 3 RBs in the top 5 of last year’s class. That’s why I am not buying the Najee first round hype.

You never know. If you would have said 3-4 years ago, that Brady, Gronk and AB would all win a Super Bowl with Tampa Bay, you would've been locked in the nut house.

I am leaning that way, really depends on who falls. I love Najee and what he can do, but reality is he is 24 and already has a lot of mileage. You basically are getting 4-5 years and hoping his production holds up. That is not horrible as many 1st rounders do not make it anyway, but if someone does fall then no qualms about going another direction. You are not going to fix all the holes in one draft, last year we got 4 starters (including Minkah). If they continue to develop that is a pretty good draft. If they can hit like that this year it really is a great foundational start in the next phase of retooling.

I am not against a RB in the first, its just I think we are flexible to pursue other options
