Steelers and Tampa had about the same rushing numbers in yards and TD’s only Steelers did it behind the worst line in football.

Tampa and KCs ground game did not play a pivotal role in their success.

I know we won’t see eye to eye on this but a first RD RB is really a poor use of draft capital unless that’s the last piece you need to complete your team.

We have alot of holes so I don't think there's much that would get me upset this year. But those would be:

    - QB in Round 1
    - Guard in round 1
    - TE Friermuth in Round 1
    - OT Jalen Mayfield
    - some out of the box option like an Artie Burns or Terrell Edmunds

    Draft JOK over everyone.
Draft Farley over everyone but JOK
Draft Darrisaw over everyone but JOK and Farley
    Draft Collins over everyone else.

If all 4 gone... Trade back for a 2 and 3.

If no trade possible draft Jenkins. If no Jenkins then and only then consider a RB.

    Preferably Ettiene.

Worst thing they could do is reach for a QB. Best thing they could do is trade down into the second round. They need more second and third round picks. They have enough holes to need a bunch of them. Before the second round they won’t be able to pick high enough to get a good QB (they would need a year of true suckitude to finish poorly enough to do that). After the third round, the talent level is essentially that of UDFAs anyway. Next worst thing they could do is draft a defensive back. Just because they don’t do it well, for whatever reason.
If Justin Fields falls to them and they also get one of the big three running backs, I am cool with that. If they have additional picks from trading down maybe they address Oline openings. O’Chloroform and Finney are both starters on paper at this point. Yikes!

Reminds me a bit of Kevin Dotson actually. Major aspect though is Dotson was more technically sound coming out. I do like the fact though that Moore has better athletic ability as far as guards go though.

The Bucs didn't invest the 4th overall pick in a RB, they claimed him off the scrap heap. The Jags were the big loser there. LF put up decent numbers in Tampa, nothing James Conner didn't do a couple years ago.

Jones is just a guy. They didn't win the Super Bowl because of him.

Same with CEH. 800 yards as a rookie. Was he the reason the Chief made the Super Bowl? Is that your argument?

I'll bet they wish they had picked a defensive player or OL with that pick.

Are you serious with this? JOK over Etienne and Harris, a guy without a position , he won't be able to play ILB in their base defense.

Why? Darius Leonard says he plays at 215. ILB is changing in today's game.

Very much so. Minkah Fitzpatrick is actually the best example of a position less player as Brian Flores attempted to shoe horn him in at Strong Safety whereas he should have been used based on the Offensive Formation and overall oppositions game plan. Look at him with Tomlin. JOK does not have Minkah's ball skills but their instincts and Football IQ are very similar.

Agree somewhat. Leonard primarily as a MLB in Matt Eberflus' defense. That said, agree about the weight aspect overall.

You might see a lot of movement if this happens. I would be tempted to see the Steelers move up for Parsons or Surtain.

You don't draft a tweener when you have to stop the Browns and Ravens running game, JOK ain't no Minkah, Collins would make more sense at #24.

They have too many holes to fill to move up.

People keep saying this but why? Do people think if they hit on all their needs that they will go to the SB this year?

If you can get a great player, you do it.

Hence why I said that JOK does not have Minkah's ball skills. Everything else though he compares favorably to. Furthermore, attacking a Run Offense like the Ravens is less about what is up the middle and more so what is about the perimeter. JOK has the sideline to sideline speed to do so. In addition, do not forget Devin Bush Jr is returning and his ability to crash the inside was improved in 2020 compared to his Rookie Season.

Either way, agree to disgree. JOK can be special in the right Defense. Mike Tomlin and Keith Butler have dealt with mutli role players before. JOK's play style and versatility is right up their alley. He will be right at home if he gets drafted here.

Pick the player and not the position.

They should get one of the top 3 at pick 24 no way all those guys are gone. And if they are you probably get a really good OT dropping to you at that pick.
