Granted, making movies which purely and accurately represented reality would be a little boring but if Hollywood produced 100 accurate movies per year, 10 of which were entertaining, that would be a huge improvement over 5000 movies per year, 10 of which are entertaining.

Yea. The plot for Hostel was horrid. But Hostel 2 was actually solid, and had a far better plot.

Or like the one I see alot. Especially in this Zombie genre era. Somebody that has never shot a pistol of any kind....at a full out run popping headshots off left and right.

I was just happy that the show came back, but it took a little getting used to. Joel was still involved as the creator, so it's still his show, and even though he's no longer a main character, he was still in the show as the guy who sent the movies to the satellite, but he had a helmet on so you couldn't tell it was him. But once it grew on me, there were some very funny episodes.

I watched them all. It just wasn't the same for me. I still DVR them. They show them here and there on IFC.

Speaking of car scenes - here's a link to some great trivia about the most famous car chase in movie history - Bullitt. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0062765/trivia

I've read before but didn't see listed here, the Dodge Charger lost something like 6 or 7 hubcaps during the filmed chase scene. Also, when it plows into a gas station and blows up at the end of the chase, you can still see the Charger cruising in tact from right to left behind the gas station well after the big explosion. I've watched this entire chase in super slo-mo dozens of times and can verify most of the goofs. But at the end - what a great movie! :thumbs up::drinks:

Never saw "Lord of the Rings". My oldest brother had a friend way back when who loved those books so much, he named his dog Bilbo!

I know a lot of people loved that movie. I'm just not one of them. Maybe the problem is that I don't get stoned.....?

"The Last Boy Scout". Even Bruce Willis couldn't save that one.

I liked the idea behind it and I do like Willis but the scene where the girl was tied up and getting hurt sickened me and I had to turn off.

The only thing I remember about that movie is the opening scene with the gun at the football game. Can't remember anything else about it.

That was a great scene. I believe Billy Blanks was the player.
If my memory serves me right.
Which I thought was strange....because he was a martial artist, not a football player. I seen it at the movies, and haven't seen it since...
    So I could be wrong.

Now don't quote me on that . I haven't seen it in a long time, nor looked it up, but if my memory is correct , I believe it was.

It's him. I looked it up on IMDB after seeing your post about it. I probably didn't know who he was back when the movie came out, and never watched it again to notice.
