I really believe that the team you’re drafted by is huge also.

If the officiating continues to have more of a blind eye to holding like they did in 2020, sacking the QB will become devalued as well. Teams could end up with developing hybrid defensive players that play on the line, but can cover ten yards downfield.

Who is claiming JuJu is a number 1 WR?

There's quite a few agents who aren't happy so far in free agency.

Was wondering the same. Even his supporters are very realistic about what he is for the most part, which is a very good slot receiver / chain mover, and a good Redzone threat.

I don’t think anybody has him in the same league as Robinson, Hopkins etc.

After AB's scorched earth campaign to get out of Pittsburgh there were media types and fans that announced Juju the number 1 receiver based solely on his status of being more tenured than Washington and DJ and because a shuffling of the depth chart. The fact that the Steelers don't use terms like number 1 receiver, number 2 or outside and slot seems to be lost on most of them. Juju is at his best when he can move all over the field and work in space. Pigeonholing him as a number 1 and making the assumption that he should be running a route tree featuring go routes 95% of the time is just stupid and a bad use of talent.

People that said he could replace AB and he himself with ab in the background of a photo said he was ready.

Another team in on Golladay. Must not be liking the offers from Cincy and Giants.

Going to Baltimore is a career death sentence for any receiver at this point. I don't think they'd be anywhere near a top option for Golladay unless they're willing to shower him with money.

Strange things are a foot at the Circle K. Nelson asked for a trade?

    Per Schefter

Steelers have granted permission to starting CB Steven Nelson to seek a trade, per source. Nelson, who turned 28 in January, has been graded as one of the league’s top cornerbacks in recent seasons

Or they know that the team is up against the wall cap wise and I'd you are like Nelson or Williams you could be a cut.

I don't keep up with all of it but isn't Nelson signed for another 2 years, he was one of are better CBs last year?

Guess with the signing of Cam Sutton their thinking is get a pick for him in a trade. A 2nd would be nice. Cap savings would be 8,250,000 base salary. Would owe him 3,670,000 restructure and 2,500,00 signing bonus.

Couldn't be that much $ for a year, which makes me believe players have lost faith in Tomlin.. he was asking for trade, not the Steelers seeking a trade..

Players have lost faith at any shot of winning a championship with Ben at QB.
