Contract Restructuring Stupidity

I like the tag in theory only, in reality they seem to fail imo. I would vote for guaranteed contracts that both sides must honor. Play for pay or gtfo

Not all fans are kosher with the current tag options, personally i don't agree with the exclusive one, the player is held hostage like a pinned pawn.

 

Yeah they accepted the CBA, i was hoping for stronger representation from the players union. They could have nixed the exclusive tag. Rookie contracts keep me up at night, the owners are making out like bandits.

 

I don't care either way, its not my money. When's the next kickoff?

I like the tag as a good starting point, like good faith money. We are going to tag, give you x amount for the year as we work towards a long term deal. However it doesn't seem to work that way anymore.

 

What's wrong with the non-exclusive tag? Exclusive tag is like living in a communist society, either conform or to the gulag.

 

You don’t get to negotiate the collective bargaining agreement in a communist country.
