Highsmith you mean. I like him, liked the draft pick and his potential but he has work to do.

    Spillane filled in for Bush.

Can you imagine if it took every player 5 years to arrive?

I have total faith in Highsmith, he was the best looking outside linebacker Rookie we had since TJ.

Way above Dupree and Jarvis Jones in their rookie years.

Problem is depth, there isn't much behind, TJ, Highsmith, Bush and Williams (could be cut ?) /Spillane

Him coming off injury he may not get the huge offers ? I would like the Team to keep him but i doubt that happens.

He's a freak athlete because of his size, and how quick he is, there were some plays as soon as the ball was snapped he was already in the backfield.

The same Watt who was a no show in the playoff game vs the Browns, after getting week 17 off to rest .

He was on his way to double digit sacks last season before he got injured.

He switched sides with Watt, and he got a real OLB in Butler then he flourished.

This. Who is on the otherside opposite you when you play the same or similar position does matter.. though people like to ignore this on here in certain circumstances.

Not sure what you were expecting from the third round rookie. Highsmith is already a win, not over-drafted like some first rounders. Too bad Dupree stepped up as the weak link or the Steelers would have him & Highsmith manning the edges.

He gets his sacks usually when the qb is out of the pocket. Not worth franchise $$$ just a cherry picker when the play breaks down.

Just like Ben. No show for last 2 playoff debacles. While we're at it...add Heyward to the list. And Tomlin.

    You are a delusional clown.

Not to mention the other 30 variables like the score, other players not dressing, etc. Did Bud ever have a probowl experience in his storied rise to being missed?

Minkah & Nelson had a bigger impact on Dupree's #s.

I wasn't just talking about Highsmith, you're the one that said there's 6 players on defense better than Dupree, and I said none of those 6 did anything in the playoff game vs the Browns .

I guess you didn't pay attention to the run defense at the end of the season, Dupree was a big part of them stopping the run, not just rushing the passer.

NO, shouldn't be that way either, some sort of immediate contribution should be expected.
