I don't care what he does or where he goes after he's gone which I hope is soon. I appreciate his time as a Steeler, but time is up. The SB window with Ben has been closing for what seems like forever. Let's finally close and lock this window and lets move on.

Well this is a predictable comment from the president of the AB fanboy club.

Did talks falter yesterday? Woke up to several articles on my FB wall from Pittsburgh media painting it's the end of the road for Ben.

If I was in that position I'd think of my children. I'd accept a back-up position on any team. Be sort of a QB coach and play if needed. It would give me something to do in the sport I love and I'd be bringing in more big money for my kids and grand kids future.

Not sure how that would work for the ego's these guys have but it would be a great way to make a few more million.

Really impossible to compare players from different era's. So many factors have changed over the decades. I sure the hell would like to live long enough to throw a third QB into the mix.

I do think Ben would play for another team. I am not so sure there will be a team that would take Ben.

I think Ben's ego may want him to play elsewhere, but I think he could really hurt his legacy as a QB. I've stated in another thread that if Ben goes elsewhere, I believe it will be a Donovan McNabb type of ending for him. He may start for a game or two, but then be benched. He doesn't have the relationship with another organization where they will feel they own him anything and will not spare his feelings. Many already question if Ben will be a first ballot hall of famer, if he plays anywhere else, he is assured to play the waiting game afterwards.

Ben it is time to retire, thank you for your service, pick up your fancy watch for your retirement gift.

Doesnt matter how great an offensive mind is. Ben does what he wants or he pouts and plays passive aggressive games.

Ben will not go quietly like Troy or Hines. He will try to prove himself with another team. Whether he still has anything in the tank is the real question

They have Taysom Hill under contract and will look to bring Winston back on the cheap, can’t afford anything else, their cap situation is worse than the Steelers.

Ben will restructure. Play, and play well in 2021. 35 TD, 8 INT, 4500 yds., then retire with two middle fingers up at 3/4 of the posters here. Go ahead and roast me now Ben haters. :lolol:
