Would you hypothetically trade TJ straight up for Watson?

Ha, true. However, there is no world hypothetical or not that Watt is worth more than Watson.

Not only no, but hell no. Did Watson get Offensive Player of the Year Award or any award any year?

So you are saying no to giving up a 26 year old top 5 defensive player for a 25 year old top 5 quarterback? Crazy town.

Only if we had an elite team that just needed a qb. At this point Watt will probably be like his brother, elite player on an average to below average team for the rest of his career lol.

    Yes.

Franchise QB > then franchise LB.

Would hate to lose Watt but I’d do that in a heartbeat.

I know you and I have disagree on how good Watson is. But yeah a QB is the centerpiece of the team whereas a LB is a cog in the defense. In a straight up trade, Houston would very likely be the losers here.

Watson is a good QB, but not worthy of some of the slobbering that's going on about him here.

With the best defense we haven’t won a playoff game. Might as well try with the most dynamic QB available.

would be a sad day however.

I am going to say yes, because if NFL officiating is going to be calling less holds as they did this year, TJ Watt becomes less valuable. The NFL is becoming more and more about the QB.
