Post your mocks, baby. Update them as you go, I don’t care if you post everyday. I’m not using a mock draft machine for this (I will in the first post below), and this is obviously pre-combine etc so it’s my first go.

From the Mock Draft Simulator, I got the below (somehow):
Mock Draft Machine | The Draft Network

    R1 Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah ILB
-NO CHANCE he's here. To me he's a top 5-10 prospect. Pairing him with Devin Bush would make for two small-ish ILBs sure, but they have elite upside together.

    R2 Walker Little OT

    R3 Trey Sermon RB
    -Powerful, shifty

    R4 Aaron Banks G
Not sure how he fell to round 4. This would be a best case scenario

    R4 Tedarrell Slaton DT

    R5 Pooka Williams RB
I don't know how he falls to round 5 - for anyone who watches tape, he's an underrated prospect for round 3/4. If we miss out on Sermon, I wouldn't hate him being taken round 3.

    R6 Tre Nixon WR

    R7 Ben Petrula G/C

    R7 Tre Dean III CB

actually started a thread with my fanspeak.com simulator mock and came up with very nice, but impossible results

    1. Kyle Pitts TE
    2. Najee Harris RB
    3. Terrace Marshall WR
    4. Liam Eichanberg TE
    4. Kyle Trask QB
    6. Osi Odighizuwa Edge
    7. Khyisis Tonga DT
    7. Marquis Hayes OG

Since Hayes announced he was returning to school I did it again and still came up big

    1. Kyle Pitts TE
    2. Jaylen Mayfield OT
    3. Dylan Moses ILB
    4. Trey Sermon RB
    4. Amon Ra St. Brown WR
    6. Ryan McCollum C
    7. Jamie Newman QB
    7. Khyisis Tonga DT

I'm pretty sure 90 percent of both of these mocks will be gone within the first 2 rds, but exciting results nonetheless

not bad, but I don't see us dipping into the well twice at RB..... evaluations will be harder this yr though, since the combine has been officially cancelled this yr due to covid

Kyle Pitts will not help us in the run game. I don’t care even .0001%, because he’s in that Evan Engram/Noah Fant mould, but better.

Jamie Newman being there in the 7th would be great. Ditto for Mayfield and Moses.

    This would be great

In one of these I got LeCounte in the 3rd round. Is that even possible?

As deep as this draft is, I would expect some big time players to slide a bit..... There's gonna be some serious value in the mid rds

Yeah, it was pretty insane. Don't think the draft falls that way, but you never know. A guy can hope. I could see Leatherwood making it to us or another LT in the first and I think I've run enough mocks that there will be a C in the 2nd, but there just aren't a lot of good TEs in this class. If it isn't Pitts or Freiemuth, you probably aren't getting a TE.

Did one from TDN. Unfortunately I couldn't get a TE till the last round.

I agree...….. I think that we can get a top of the line OT in the 2nd or even 3rd...… There are only 3 TE's though that I see as potential game changers

In all of these I've done I've seen Sermon drop to the 4th. I was expecting him to be a 2nd round pick.

Pitt has 2 excellent ball players sitting right across the room from the Steelers offices
and a third at the SS position if he would screw his head on could be a good pro.

Do not forget that strategically placed garter (you choose location), never know when admiring ladies and (ahem) men want to leave a tip.

Missing something here...you think we could get a 3rd and 4th from a team moving up 2 spots in the first...I know it is the Brown's but that is not happening.

I realize that simulations aren't remotely close to the real deal. Couple of observations nonetheless. Trey Sermon's stock is in freefall. Im finding him in the late 3rd/early 4th and sometimes mid 4th. Jamie Newman in the 5th round is very intriguing. If it wasn't for Covid, he could've been as high as a first rounder.

My strategy in doing these is simple but complex. With this cap situation, I figured the bulk of the draft picks and even UDFA's will be making the team. In some simultions I got as many as three 2nd round picks and three 3rd round picks. That's probably not reality, but I'm convinced trading down or even out of the first round is a wise decision. The TE out of PSU almost always fell to the 40 slot and when he wasn't there I selected Mac Jones or the guard from OSU. Creed Humphrey, C from Oklahoma, is almost always available at our 87 spot. If not him then there's always the C from Bama or OSU. Round Three we can almost always find the T from North Dakota. Once I get to the 5th and 6th round, I just take the BPA. A sleeper pick is a T named Aaron Banks in the 5th/6th round.

Maybe the Steelers take my approach, maybe they don't. It's been a fun time killer nonetheless.

I'd say three. Tyman the DT, who didn't play due to covid. He's a first rounder on some boards but probably needs a huge pro day. Weaver and Jones III are 2nd/3rd round guys. Then there's Damar Hamlin, whom won't go until the 5th, at the earliest.
