People here who keep defending Tomlin are flat out pitiful. Pathetic.

Brown played in 9 games 16 catches on 19 targets. Randle el played 16 games 22 catches on 39 targets 253 yards. Sooo why was Randle el the 3rd WR. Brown also had the catch that sealed the AFC championship game against the Ravens (deep ball that he caught pinning the ball against his helmet. Soooooo how about you show some facts instead of a random opinion. Tell me one play that Randle el made that year in 16 games (go find that highlight for me I will wait

Like I said in another thread it’s absolutely hilarious at this point. Not even worth trying to have an argument with them anymore.

Brown made that catch vs. Ravens in the divisional round of the playoffs in 2010 season. The Steelers played the damn Jets in the AFC Championship.

I swear... the idiocy and lack of basic facts and knowledge of Steelers history on this message board blows my mind.

The Saints should fire Sean Payton, they have lost at home in the playoffs the last 3 years, despite having Brees a top 10 QB of all time and a good defense .

Does anybody not expect AR2 to give another extension to Tomlin when the time comes?

Coaching is terrible and it starts at the top. Only positive is, Steelers are on a collision course with a top 5 pick in 2022. The '21 team will be worse than the '20 team. Guaranteed.

Why wouldnt he have done it already like they usually do with 2 years left? Having an option for 2022 is classic opportunity to walk away just as they like to do. They’ll just release a statement, we’ve decided not to pick up Tomlins option and then thank him for his services.

Writing is on the wall, he’ll definitely need to advance in the playoffs to be back in 2022.

But he still has the opportunity to do it this off-season which maybe I'm mistaken I thought was the normal time. You're right though that option makes it convenient. Let's hope.

True, they can still do it and then we’ll know that he’ll have this job as long as he wants to coach here if they do.

I’m hoping they at least let him go into this season knowing things need to change by not extending him.

It took me a long time to lose faith in Mike but I have. I even stood by him as he let the natives run wild but no more. I firmly believe next season will be his last and it will be his first under .500 season.

Only thing that will piss me off is I can no longer dazzle people at parties with my favorite trivia question: What organization of the 4 major sports has had the fewest head coaches the last half century? Use to love watching people trying to figure it out all buzzed up on the spirits.

Tomlin has two more years. I figure ownership will give him to 15 years and see where he's at. If it's like it is now, he's gone.

You thinking Randle el in 2010 was better than Sanders and Brown is what is insane. You really don’t know what you are talking about. Mike Wallace always sucked it was his second year. Tomlin should have played them throughout the year. Bill Belichick wanted to steal Sanders away when he was a restricted free agent. He also complimented the crap out of both of them in 2011 after we played them rough in week 6 (no I won’t go look up the exact week). <mod edit>

    That’s not accepted here.

Also Hines Ward was targeted 95 times and produced 755 yards (he was completely washed up). Our top 3 WRs sucked Wallace, Ward and Randle el.:facepalm::dancing:
