That's the problem. Coaches get canned because of their terrible performance but jump on opportunities elsewhere. Happens all the time. Just a fraternity to these guys.

Just letting the Steelers know my services are available.

I promise to make every drunk fan at Heinz Field happy, with flea flickers, end around passes, statue of liberty plays on a constant play by play basis.

Why? He was the DC in title only. Tomlin was the DC in reality.

Hopefully this means Ben is gone too and they bring in an offensive minded coach who will allow Rudolph to put his best foot forward next year.

Then, and only then, will we know if we already have our QB of the future or if we need to draft someone with a high pick.

If that doesn't happen, then Rudolph was a wasted pick. They should have signed a veteran backup instead of wasting a pick on a QB they were never going to use

Well, that better than the RF 68, 3 yard passes and a back to back same FB run once a season.

I believe he will be next man up.

Glad that Sarrett is gone. Now bring in an experienced coach that will bring back the physicality that Tomlin is searching for.

Bradley I had hopes for but he really wasn't the be all end all coach for the secondary.

Teryl Austin should be given a shot to replace Butler and take away the defensive play calling from Tomlin providing Butler is not retained. Fingers crossed.

    Thank goodness!!
Need outside of n ol coach that are strong enough to reign in Ben n passing too much, cut pouncey n bring in younger talent to run ball more n actually effectively, NOT run 80% of time, but more like 45 % or more, under center

Butler needs to go also w Art telling Mike to hire outside DC n get out of way

Now 2and part likely won't happen but one can hope

Fire Tomlin. Bring back Munchak for HC. Fixes multiple issues with one hire.

I can't imagine that anyone would trade for Ben at this point.

Its not going to happen so lets see if the moves that are being made come to fruition. Butler should be next!

Any decision to start Matt Flier over Dotson should of been grounds for firing right then and there and even more shame on Tomlin for letting that happen.

You gotta throw in a few single wing plays as well. That would be good.

    He's not alone.
I'd say 90% of the Steelers fans have been waiting for this.

Ben did say he would never play for anyone else, he said when they don't want me anymore then I know it will be time.

But of course, Brett Favre cried in his retirement speech, and then went to play for two more NFL teams lol
