    What is it?

He is still young, won a Super Bowl, never had a losing season. Hall of Fame bound....he should have a higher trade value than Gruden, right?

I had a crazy idea -- trade him to Philly for Wentz. Seems pretty even, no?

I would love them to explore his trade value. Gruden was worth 2 firsts and 2 seconds plus 8 mill. Our HOF coach should at least get us 1 first. Hell I'd take the Mr. Irrelevant pick, I wouldn't be picky.

That would be the greatest Heist of all time if someone could make this happen. Houston would lose their minds and that franchise would end up moving again.

I'd settle for trading him to Detroit for Stafford (if Stafford is willing to restructure/extend to get his cap hit lower)

Philly isn't sure what they're doing with Pederson yet. And you're wasting your time entertaining this notion. Ownership still thinks Tomlin is gold.

Why would the front office trade him, they've kept him around up to this point. This year's collapse wasn't even as bad as some in the past, at least he has covid and injuries as excuses to fall back on. I wouldn't be surprised if they promoted him to Head Coach/Assistant to the General Manager.

Watson is wanting out, Their new GM is from the pats who like to trade, Hell let them keep their # 1 pick this year and take a 2, 4, 6 , For a HOF coach.... seems like a win win to me

I'd give them Tomlin and our 1 for Watson straight up, and we would still be winning the trade.

I don't follow the NFL as close as some on here so maybe I missed it. Other than Gruden, what head coaches have ever been traded?

I've been waiting for it. Every time it's happened I've been a little less surprised. At this point it was only a matter of time. They didn't look flawless thru those first 11 games. Tomlin did nothing to show me it was going to be any different. Smoke and mirrors.
They put all their eggs in the Ben/Tomlin basket about 3 seasons ago when they were handing out contract extensions. That was this organizations biggest collapse.

I suggested that a couple seasons ago. Put him in the front office. Whatever it would take to get the coaching decisions out of Tomlin's hands.
