Can't see Tomlin's .500 or better streak continuing

At best, they go 3-3 in the division, and it's likely 2-4 or 1-5.
No way they're winning at GB, at Buff, at KC 0-3

Probably no better than 2-1 vs the rest of the AFCW and NFCN, so 4-2

And then Tennessee

At best 7-9, probably more like 6-10, 5-11.

 

Another reason why its time to make a coaching change.

 

I agree but they won't. So the next best thing would be to watch Tomlin lose and then get a better pick.

 

A coaching change alone won’t win games next year. We just need to suck for 1-2 seasons and load up on young talents with high draft picks

 

Yup we need to get some talent. No more re tooling lol other teams caught up.

 

The Rooney's and FO are not the kind of management that hires a coach and fires them after one bad season, it would have to be something really bad to get fired in Pittsburgh. I would think now is the time to bring in a new HC so that person can be a part of the rebuilding process this offseason and next year. Meaning we would probably take a step backwards next year to rebuild. So the new coach would get the benefit of making that "better pick" to build the team that they want. It would also allow for QB evaluation ...how a QB works with the coaching staff is vital.

Lets not forget Tomlin fired Arians. It was not all on the Rooney's. Bruce would not have been fired if Tomlin wanted him to stick around. This team and coaching staff that we see now is what Tomlin wanted. The issues are the same as they have always been. Poor preparation, lack of attention to details, sloppy play. It's not often you see the steelers get beat because the opponent had more talent. We usually lose because we imploded.

 

I really hope that they don't have a losing season next year. But it doesn't matter what I hope for because it is what it is. I don't think they have the ability to win more than half their games whether I want them to or not I just don't see it. Taking this train wreck out for games next year could be very embarrassing.
