Joe Haden being irresponsible (Covid 19)

He had Ebron and Marsh over at his house recently , that's why those two guys had to sit out the Browns game. Hopefully they don't test positive like Haden.

 

How is that irresponsible? They are in a locker room every day together. They’re around each other in practice. Irresponsible would be going out to a bar and bringing it back to your teammates.

 

I can't fault Haden here. These guys test all the time. They are around each other everyday. I am sure all three of those guys assumed they were negative when they got together.

 

You can guarantee there weren't there alone. They had to have people over who gave it to them. I think players themselves are in general being responsible, it's the people who they're in contact with who aren't.

 

You’re assuming a lot.

 

My friend you spend a lot of time worrying about people who's lives you have no control over. Say it with me "It will all buff out." I find it works for every situation.

 

Well they have to be together in the locker room, and they're supposed to wear masks, this close to the playoffs he should be know better to have a get together at his house IMO.

 

And look where it got him, he will miss the playoff game.

 

It sounds like they had a get together with their kids, I heard it was a video on them on social media.

 

Why take the chance, Ben and other players said they just go home and be with their families, Haden can have his get together in the offseason.

 

I'll blame ebron.. just because

 

So everyone that catches it is irresponsible?

 

My point is having a family get together with other people is irresponsible during a pandemic.

 

Umm ... wrk , church, going to the store, or just abt any other activity,..., your gona be around someone/ or groups of people that you dont live with....... Its just part of life

 

If Haden was helping Ebron with catching I doubt anyone would complain.

 

Ebron isn't catching covid. He doesn't catch anything.

 

They actually suggest that you stay within your bubble of friends/ family if you’re going to socialize.
I wouldn’t be against teams making a rule against this though. This **** is just about over anyway.

 

If Ebron, and Marsh brought their wife or GF to Haden's house, I'm sure he doesn't know if they're covid positive, and they probably wasn't wearing masks.

 

Well when I go work, the store I wear a mask, and it has worked so far .

I don't know, I haven't seen the video, but it's a unnecessary risk IMO.

 

I may have a different opinion if he truly was being irresponsible. Seems like your working up a bad opinion of him over over ifs and buts.

 

An unfortunate aspect of the pandemic has been the tendency to ‘blame’ someone’s irresponsible behavior for contracting COVID. This has roots in today’s politicization of disease. 20 million people have tested positive, probably 60-80 million more have had it and not known it. I don’t think 1/3 of the country has been irresonsible. They had to go to work, and caught it. Or there spouse did. Or were in the wrong place at the wrong time. You can take precautions but there’s no guarantee.

 

He caught Covid, but dropped it.
