The Steelers did the right thing by losing yesterday, right?

By losing to the Browns they ensured a 1st round playoff game versus the Browns instead of the red hot Ravens, right?

I was screaming at the TV when the Steelers went for 2 to tie the game and was relieved when it failed.

This way the Ravens get the Titans first who could take them out for us.

If the Steelers had won y’day, and every other game worked out as it, they be playing Indy this weekend.
If Cincy has beaten Bal, too, they’d be playing Mia.
It was never as likely as people seemed to think that they were going to play Balt.

When the Bills won y’day, the only way the Steelers could get Bal, was if Jax beat Indy.

At least the Steelers still tried to win yesterday even with backups.
    I’m not mad.

    see Philadelphia.

It's never a good thing to lose.

But, yes, the Browns are the only team I am EXTREMELY confident that we beat. I think we completely dominate them actually from start to finish.

I like it for the fact the Ravens will have to go play KC, but Lamar lays turds especially against Mahomes, Mahomes owns him.

But, I still think Buffalo is the best team at this point. If not for the Hail Murray they be at 10 straight wins, and they are demolishing people and look absolutely hungry.

So, if we get through round 1, and think we may have to beat the team that may be playing better than KC is.

I don't like playing division opponents 3 times in the year.

Baltimore - despite their hot streak, I think we can and should win the game if we don't turn the ball over.

KC - I'm at a loss for words. All I can say is this: In 2005, we beat a juggernaut of a team in the 14-2 Colts, led by Peyton Manning (who finished #2 in MVP and probably deserved it that year also.)
As incredible as KC and Mahomes are, they are NOT better than that Colts team, relatively speaking. So we always have a puncher's change.

And Josh Allen has played great, but it's not a given that he rises to the occasion in the spotlight of the playoffs. I like our chances in a rematch actually.

You guys and this Ravens stuff, OMG. :lolol:

If the Steelers had won yesterday, they still would not have played the Ravens. They would have played the Colts.

Things did work out for the Steelers. I will say that. IMO, the Browns are by far the weakest AFC playoff team.

Those of you that fear the Ravens should be happy. The Steelers most likely would not see them until the AFCC game. If they do that would mean we avoided the Chiefs. So that would be a good thing.

Buffalo....Looks like the best team right now, even better than the Chiefs...Chiefs have not looked good at all, and Bell filling in for CEH showed that he is done, Toast!

And I believe that the Dolphins would have squeaked in as the 7 seed in that case.

You may not like it but you pretty much have to do it go to a Super Bowl

2010- Steelers played Baltimore in Divisional round

2008- Steelers played Baltimore in AFC Championship game

2005- Steelers played Bengals in Wild Card Round

Yes, Cle would have been eliminated. So it would be Buf/Mia, Pit/Ind and Bal/TN

I think we wil win too, but keep this in mind if the NFL wants the Browns to win, look for alot of penalties against us early and often ...

I dont know if I'm in the minority here but I would always rather see AFC North teams in the playoffs. Browns then the Ravens would be the dream, to me. I trust the Steelers to take it to them. I dont have that same sort of trust vs
    Bills .Chiefs

Bills beating the Dolphins threw the whole seeding off. Nobody saw that coming. Bills had a free bye week and didn't take it. Who could predict that? Also, I guess the Bills aren't believers in division pride like the Rooneys. Steelers in the same situation would take the week off.

I find it funny that someone would be screaming at their TV for the team they are rooting for to lose. If it acts like a troll it probably is.

I am not extremely confident in beating anybody right now. Hope we can get places in the playoffs but I can't forget how we're going in, momentum wise. We're 1-4 in our last 5 games and except for 20 minutes of good football, we were horrible and many thinking we'd be going 0-6 to finish the season. I know we didn't play all our best players yesterday but we're still 1-4 going into post season. No optimum momentum wise. I can get a little more excited, confidence wise, if we actually win a playoff game this Sunday night. Until then, pins and needles and 4th qtr sweats is anticipated and hoping our kicker is ready.

Have you noticed he will disappear without responding to any of the comments back to his original posts, then reappear as if he had never posted before.

He reminds me of my 4 year old great niece
