I hope they let him play and use the talent around him. I want nothing more than to see this kid ball out.

I hope Rudolph does well and Steelers win. Browns missing the playoffs again would be great.

Rudolph has to like having the weapons this year, last year against the Browns he had like Deon Cain starting because everyone else was hurt, I think we even had to use Edmunds at half back a lot too due to injuries.

I like Mason's chances in this game. I hope they take the training wheels off and let him be himself. He is not Ben nor should he be asked to step in and be like Ben.

The football gods will not allow the Browns into the playoffs. It’s just not natural, like cannibalism or the Kardashians.

I know it is respectful, tactful, expected, blah blah blah. I think everyone likely has low expectations for the po's given 1/2 of good play over the last 4-5 games. Neither MR or Dobbs have really ever done anything to instill any confidence that coming in for Ben would lead to victory..especially a playoff game and with this running game.

All that said, I was thinking the same as you today. We know they both stink, so why not have some fun and develop something that may actually work and make an opposing team think a little while preparing for us. Sure start MR, but if you get to 3rd and short bring Dobbs in, let Dobbs play the 2nd qtr and do some QB option plays. It does not even have to be to deep, just so something different. I am not delusional to think Dobbs is really any better than MR, but his athleticism at least makes him more dimensional.

Futchner needs to take the training wheels off and let this guy prove himself. Even if he’s not part of our future, at least let him audition for 2021 and show what he can do

This would be the sweetest revenge ever for Rudolph is to go back to Cleveland and win this game and keep the Browns out of the playoffs. I don’t know if the Steelers will win this game but I have a feeling they will give the Browns all they have and make them earn this win. This game should come down to the last few minutes.

The game will come down to the wire and Chris Harrison will appear at mid-field for the 2-minute warning and say: "Myles, Mason, the final rose tonight!"

I do not think so, who they can sign, who leaves, and who they feel they have to dump will be far more of a determination. I think they know what they have in both MR and Dobbs (who is a FA this year), at best warm bodies until they can draft the next franchise QB.

I like it. Gets Ben some rest and maybe some clarity about the draft strategy. I mean I definitely think they should be looking at QB this draft but not sure the Steelers have made up their minds yet about Mason.

I also don’t think this means an automatic loss, Mason won 5 games last year.

My betting remains Over 5 as it was before the season started. No way CBS is going to ignore that level of vitriol and toxicity.

They are saying there is little to no relationship between Mason and Ben. There will apparently be no help from Ben in prepping Mason for this week's game. This goes to show Ben apparently followed through on his selfishness when Mason was drafted. I'm afraid Ben is a Steeler Legend with no class.

3 TDs and 275 yards would be sufficient.

When you say "They", who are you referring to? I haven't heard that.

I've seen Rudolph and Roethlisberger talking on the sideline many times going over plays, etc on the sideline when D is on the field. Likewise with Dobbs.

I hope you are right. I'm sure it is just another NFL Network story line. Next think you know they will have Ben putting money in for Myles head hunting fund.

Well, those would be career highs. He’s never done either, never more than 2 TD passes, never more than 251 yds.
