Yeah he left Colburt for Tomlin too. He can't even keep the best players around because nobody respects him. They just do what they want until its too late and things blow up. First you said coaches have no say in the draft now you're saying Cowher was overruled? Interesting :lolol:

I didn't say the coaches doesn't have a say, you're giving Cowher too much credit for putting those teams together is my point, Cowher was overruled on the Ben pick because he wanted to draft a OL .

He taught leadership, something that is missing in the Steeler clubhouse imo.

Its like he's turned the team into a children's playground. "Everybody have fun and act like F'n morons, its the new Steelers way , become the clowns of the league"

Teams used to look up to the steelers and tried to build the same style of toughness , now they're shaking their heads and laughing.

Why would you allow yourself to be associated with such a terrible organization?

I think the Steelers will find a way to keep most of these guys. They always find creative ways to manage the cap.

Conner may continue to be a Steeler next season. Running backs are not a hot commodity any longer. I'm not sure who is going to throw big money at JC. I think the Steelers will keep Conner and then hopefully draft a solid back in the 1st few rounds.

JuJu is gone IMO. Somebody is going to pay JuJu way more than what he is worth. The Steelers have depth at WR, and I can't imagine JuJu will be back.

I think the Steelers will find a way to keep Cam Sutton and Mike Hilton. This probably means Joe Haden gets the ax.

Yeah cus Cowher was more about the running game . The Ben pick turned into a fluke the way this team drafts QB's. I'd doubt anybody on here thought Ben would've became the next franchise QB .

The real question is why do you keep defending a pretend coach when he fails in the playoffs and always gets out coached and allows his QB to run the show?

Cowher wouldn't have let him get away with that BS, atleast Bill had the balls to bench him when he sucked....Get rid of MT and I'm fine.

I wanted him gone a couple years ago. Nice try though. Again if you believe the organization is such a laughing stock then why do you continue to support it.

If you wanted him gone then why debate all the time, nice try though. Why defend a guy you want gone, just to debate?

How am I defending him? I support the Steelers.
If you believe the Steelers organization has become a laughingstock then why keep fostering their behavior by supporting the team. If the product is so bad then why do you keep buying it?

Tomlin isn't the product , when that clown goes (which is soon I hope) then maybe they can get back to steelers football. If they extend him again I'll quit watching until he's gone.

They needed a QB after Bradshaw retired. How many did it take before Ben came along. They got lucky.

The way Ben is playing wouldn't we be in that situation again? Team needs both. Oh yeah you're Ben lover too, we have to play him until his legs and arm falls off. Another flaw in Tomlin, doesn't have the guts to live up to his own words. The team doesn't even pay attention to him acting all pissed off. If he really wanted to send a message, then he should've benched Ben last week. Sit the circus ringleader down.

They never do. They just hide out and wait for a “I told you so” moment. It was like that earlier this season.

If there were only fans around like you 2 , then nothing would get done. We're the ones who gets the ball rolling. You can thank us later.

We send the messages out to the players who are sucking and are goofing off. Now you have JuJu smarting up and there's Ben saying he hears the rumblings out there about how he sucks and should retire. It's us they're hearing not you 2 who just go along with management. We're the real fans .

As in comparison..You 2 fit into the same category as the idiot Toronto maple laugh fans who wanted the team to win with only 10 games left in the season. Instead of just finishing the season off in last place so they could draft Auston Matthews.
