Just missed that mess.

Last week the wife said she wanted to buy me and my son Steelers Vs. Bengals tickets for last nights game. I told I would think about it. She couldn't believe what she was hearing. A day later I told her I would pass because I didn't want to be in a 1/5th full stadium and have to wear a mask the whole time. Just didn't seem like an atmosphere I would enjoy. Had I did go I would have seriously considered leaving at halftime. I hate to say it but the team that I witnessed on TV last night does not deserve my full support.

 

Guy I use to work with was there. He is hands down the most unbelievable Steeler fan I know. He has been on 3-4 Steeler cruises. We live about 375 miles from Pittsburgh but one year he went to 7 of the 8 home games and made it back to work the next day. (true story, still amazes me) He texted me from the game and said he was glad for social distancing cause Bengal fans were getting on his ****.

 

I've been to probably a dozen or more Bengals Steelers games both in Cincinnati and in Pittsburgh. Steeler fans usually outnumber bengals fans in Cincy by a good margin. I'm sure Bengals were giving it to the Steelers fans last night tenfold and I'm glad I didn't take my 13 year old to get that abuse.

 

I just got back from a visit with the guy I mentioned. He was telling me some of the insults he received from the Bengal fans. Not cool!!!!!! I was shocked when he told me he is headed to the Browns game. Glutton for punishment. I'm thinking that game is for AFC North title and Brown fans have been itching for something like this forever. I tried talking him out of it but he is going.

 

Agreed I would definitely not go lol. Next year sure
