Anyone noticing his throwing mechanics? It is obvious to many of us that Ben is not fully recovered from his elbow reconstruction. This was an injury that would have interrupted a 23 year-old QB let alone a 38 year-old. On many of the passes he threw down field it appeared he was pushing the ball out with his shoulder. It is not a natural rotation of the shoulder in a normal throwing motion. My guess is he is having to compensate for the pain or lack of strength in his elbow to get the ball out. This is why he is so inaccurate downfield. We are very lucky there were not 4-5 interceptions last night.

Yes, that is why some claim he was throwing flat footed. I have been saying for awhile his elbow is not healed. I know we have no running game, which does not help for a balanced offense. So we go out with a dink and dunk offense, but turns out it is because Ben cannot throw the long ball. During the Kordell experiment teams loaded the box to keep him from running the ball and dared him to throw. Now teams are loading the box to stop the run game we don't have, but effectively stop the dink and dunk passes and essentially daring Ben to throw long.

Idk... Earlier in the year the WR's were saying he " Had more juice in the ball than he's had in years"...What has happened since then? The elbow? The knee? Something sure doesn't look the same!

Maybe the wear and tear of thecseason, but still 30 tds and 10 ints isn't bad. If itwas 10 tds and 30 ints then yea lol

I think it is the knee. He isn't stepping in and driving his throws forward.

I think it is his knee, and his elbow. He even looked at times like he was struggling to hand the ball off.

Hypothetical ... Let's say Ben did significantly hurt his knee against Dallas:

What injury could he have sustained?
Can he heal on his own?
    How long could that take?
OR Does he require surgery and is not letting on?

Both perhaps. Maybe other issues we don't know about.

I'm not sure our back up QBs would do that much worse. Maybe even better in being more mobile.
