11-0 to start, 0-6 to end

    That's a pretty epic flameout.

Ben needs to hang it up, and so does Tomlin. The jig is up.

Time for a long needed reboot.

Why are you here? You seem to be very joyful when the Steelers have bad games, so why not give up and follow another team?

Because I'm a pissed off Steelers fan who gets pissed when his team loses to a 2-10 team starting a 3rd string QB. Is that a weird reaction for a fan?

I don't recall this clown starting threads when the Steelers were 11-0, as soon as they start losing he keeps posting negative threads .

Someone said that he hadn’t posted for almost a year before our first loss. He’s trolling.

Did I somehow miss two weeks? Lost weekend and I don't even drink! I'm in trouble though 'cause I must have missed my wife's birthday. In the real world, it's next week.

Oh boy, time to stop watching ESPN and NFL Network.

They both just jumped on the 0-6 bandwagon.

Maybe. But he's not wrong. The wheels have fallen off the car. 3 losses in a row and looking like smashed assholes in the process. Plus the way they looked against the rats was just a harbinger of what was to come. Remember Tomlin getting all pissed and saying they sucked after that game? Well, it has gotten much worse. These guys do not look good.

To be fair, they didn't all look bad. Ben looked awful. So did AV.

No he's not, Ben is done, unfortunately

IF he could be average on all throws maybe could scheme around ol n rb issues, but he can't make a great read consistently nor a solid throw again consistently

He's only good once in awhile n defs know it n play to stop what he can kind of do

As Ben goes, so go the steelers. His body just won't let him do what his brain wants to do. Coming back from that injury and surgery is amazing, but he just doesn't have it. His motion, accuracy, and distance just isn't there.

Look this team is totally in a funk right now. At some point they may come out of it, but I don't think it is Ben's fault completely. I don't think any of it is Tomlin's fault. There are 3 main factors to this team struggling right now.

First. A lot has been talked about that they aren't playing physical football. Honestly, I think the right term is aggressive football. Everything other than quarter 3 was passive. If we continue to play a game that is passive, turnovers will happen and we will continue to lose.

Second. I don't think our OC and Ben are on any kind of the same page right now. Our first drive of the 3rd quarter was aggressive and attacking. IMO, it was the only complete possession we had like that all night. The FG possession we got to first and 10 and stopped attacking and tried to get cute. We lack any kind of identity. We are predictable and at this level that gets you in trouble.

Third. The injuries on D have to be taking their toll. Look at the LB position only. Marcus all in for Spillane who was in for Bush. Gets run over regularly cause he isn't big enough against the run. Williamson in for Williams. Williams in a heart and soul guy, but also a great run defender. Suddenly, not only are we getting run on, but it is right up our gut. Hmm. Imagine that an O coordinator understanding that we have basically 1 ILB on our roster right now who was on it at the start of the season and he probably will be replaced next year. Highsmith in for Dupree. The kid has a lot of talent, but he got sucked in and gave up a TD. Does Bud give that play up? I don't know, but that was the difference in the game and us being able to make the comeback. It isn't just that guys are hurt. It is that it is happening at basically one position and one position only. Are we lacking CBs? No although we have had some issues there as well. Dline? No we are good there. It is that playmaker position on the field and it is killing us. It isn't like the Defense is the only place either. The Oline is getting hurt badly as well. We are starting at LG a C backup who took his first snaps this year. Honestly, I thought Grey looked better there, but what do I know. Our LG is overmatched an it is being exploited badly. We don't run cause we can't win in the trenches.

Unless this team gets pissed, we may not win another game all year. I will say this though. The Titans may not win another game this year. They have 2 tough road games. If Indy beats us, the Titans may be our first round matchup in the playoffs.

True. Thats how I took it anyways. With 2 tough games to go, finishing with 6 straight losses heading into the playoffs is a real possibility. Then having to play the wildcard game.... it is possible.

No, THAT isn't a weird reaction. But wanting them to forfeit playoff games and hoping they lose out is a weird reaction for a fan.

February headline: The Covid virus has simply died out it's all over. In other news the Pittsburgh Steelers who started out with 11 straight wins, then lost 5 straight come back and win 4 straight to win their 7th SB.

    Hey, a man can dream.

He's not seeing the field, on that int he threw it right to that Bengals player, I think on the play Ebron got injured he had Claypool open for a TD .

Certainly not if they play the way they have for the past 4 weeks.

Steelers, congrats on your undefeated... um I mean 11-5 season. But hey, at least Tomlin has still never had a losing season. :goofy:

I think you subscribe to the Jerry Jones philosophy of "any attention is good attention, no matter how foolish I look"
