I'm glad you think it's nonsense. I still choose not to respone with this kind of answer to you. We are beat up. Maybe it's no excuse but there's a reason we're playing like this. Have a good day

People keep throwing out three games in 12 days like it’s something exclusive to only the Steelers.

They should crush the bungles. They should get the deep passing game going. They should get the run game going. A lot of They. I'm sure OL Popcorn will have them ready to go...

I know right. Almost every team does this every year. Now with that said the manner in which we had to play those three games because of the ravens Covid problems was a disadvantage.

The Bills just finished a 3games in 12 days stretch. They won all 3 by double digits, and had to fly to Az, back home, and out to Denver to do it. They must be some kind of super team, because from what I hear, they should have collapsed from fatigue.

Does your lowered expectations include having Muppets call the game tonight? The bar is so low we may need to dig to China to clear it.

Lol. Playing three games in 12 days in it’s self it’s not a big deal at all like some are making it out to be. The way our practice schedule was disrupted several times due to the ravens Covid issues I believe definitely had some bearing, how much who knows.

Drives me Nuts.. Sportswriters have been writing this in articles... How could they not know this? It happens to EVERY team EVERY year! Obviously, the " normal " is 3 games every 14 days...

I've seen one writer state that it was 3 games every 21 days...wtf!

Brees sucked in the first half yesterday and w/o his best WR. They nearly came back to win that game, and a fumble recovery in the end zone (instead of a touch back) may have been the difference. Not saying the Steeler team we have seen the last few weeks is the team that can or will beat them, and until they are beat (in the po's) they are still champs. Been in some very close games this year, and as champs do find a way to win, but they are beatable.

I don't think anyone can refute any of the points about the defensive injuries but remove the name "Steelers" from the equation and ask yourself this......"Is this defense good enough to help a balanced offense"? I think the answer is a resounding yes. The problem is we have no balance on offense and it appears we don't care to.

I think that as much as anything. Most bye weeks in 'regular' times meant taking a few days and getting away, this year not so much. Not saying the rest would not have helped, but they had extra time off when the T'giving game was rescheduled. 3x was it? But that 'time off' was based on frustration as well, facilities closed, practices deleted, work outs cancelled. No set routine. I know they are pros and paid to play, but the human element still comes into play...especially in an already stressful year.

Don't dismiss the 2020 AFC North Champs gear. It might be a while before you get a chance to buy division champ t-shirts again.

    My point exactly.

No defense can withstand the continual onslaught of being on the field for more than 65 snaps in consecutive drives in consecutive games. Add the three game gauntlet the NFL handed down to us and that magnified the problems even more. However, my biggest fear is now being brought into fruition; Big Bens arm.

Given the fact that Pittsburgh does not have a Rushing Attack, Big Ben slinging it 45+ times a game is simply not feasible. Why Derek Watt has disappeared is beyond me. For that matter, the lack of Matt Canada's involvement is even more bizzare.

So should McVay be fired by the Rams for losing to the Jets?

We will never sniff a SB with Tomlin and company at the helm. One of the most overrated franchises in sports.
