Cincy Line how bad are the Bengals

On the road we are giving 12.5??? With the way we look and injuries we have. I mean how awful are the Bengals. Could we really cover that spread?

 

We did it with Joe burrow under center......
Without burrow, I think the Jets could cover that spread

 

Could we cover? Yes. Will we, unlikely. Will we even win, I wouldn't bet on it straight up. Let's see if the line moves and where the money is going. Not sure if this qualifies as a trap game. I hope not.

 

While I'm a believer that Joe Burrow is going to change things in Bengal land, it's going to take a few years and some smart decisions in the front office.

I've already said I'm done with 2020 season if Steelers lose to the Bengals. I refuse to watch any more games if this happens.

 

points in gambling mean nothing. It's all about getting people to lay their money a certain way. It's not a bunch of football experts deciding how much a team will win by. If a large number of people take that bet on the bengals then you'll see the line move down. I'm sure most of you know this

The Girls with a back up QB nearly beat us and we had close to an intact team at that point. Now look at us? I think anything can happen with Cinci. We don't change (or can't) so who knows. I expect the same offensive woes, dropped passes, dink and dunk, and giving up long 3rd down transition plays. I'll start feeling more optimistic when I start seeing change. Maybe this is a get right game or maybe we hit absolute rock bottom. Will we have another Tomlin tumble to end the year or do we go the distance? I think history is against us but Tomlin has a chance to rewrite it.

 

Yeah man I’m kinda tired of the late season tumbles. Injuries are just killing us every year.

 

How bad are the Bengals? The Bengals are so bad, that if you gave Tomlin their playbook, Fitchner might run some of their plays.

 

That would be incredibly painful to watch on MNF. The announcing crew is bad enough without having to hear them try and make small talk to pass the time. I couldn't even imagine how many times would they mention Joe Burrow and Patrick Mahomes in that scenario.

 

Line is up to Pittsburgh -14. I assume that’s reflecting Cincy QB situation. Still how bad are the bengals if with the state of our offense we are giving a professional team 14 points on the road!!

 

There would be very few who would be happy about that. As I posted elsewhere if we eek out a win this board will make history for the most negative post for a 12-2 team.

 

Yeah a 3-0 win vs this bengals team during this time is definitely NOT a win. No less than 30 points in offense imo

 

If the line hits 14.5 I'm taking the Bengals.

We'll win, I'm sure of that, but I don't like huge spreads at the best of times, and despite how bad the Bengals are, we're not playing much better

 

I posted this in a separate thread earlier in the week that going back to the Steelers game where they beat the Bengals 36-10 the Bengals the last 5 games have been out scored by a 124-50 margin which is 74 points, and in the last 4 games since Burrow has been out the Bengals have gotten outscored 88-40 which is 48 points. The bottom line is this Bengals team right now absolutely sucks. They can’t score, they can’t stop anybody on defense and they are just awful across the board. The Steelers should blow this team out and this game should be over at the half. Especially with the division title on the line with a win. If this offense and Coach Randy can’t get their **** together this week then he needs fired Tuesday morning. This game has no business being even remotely close at any point or in doubt at any point none what so ever.

Scary part about this game is, if they try the same garbage again and it works ( it'll only work against another crap team) they'll think everything is fixed and they'll try it again against a better team and look like fools again.

 

The Bengals were pretty bad even with Burrow. I think this is a get right game for the Steelers.

I never expect blowouts. But I think we cover this spread.
