Yes we are a MASH unit, this is why the 3 games in 12 days took a toll. We might not have enough o-lineman to play Monday. I guess Vance could line up a guard in a pinch. One serious question though, how many pectoral injuries has this team had over 2 years, something needs to change in strength and conditioning.

They lose to Cincy, then I’ll panic.

Good chance Steelers will be tied with Chiefs after next week. Brees might be back for that game.

Bye Week is practically gone. I just assume they rest all starters on an interval basis the next 3 weeks.

And then when the playoffs start attack it like you would if you were 14 point underdogs every game and see what happens.

Yea even if that happens the Chiefs will still own the head to head tiebreaker. They really needed to win this game to improve their 1 seed chances. So we’ll just have to wait and see how things play out. At this point the Steelers need to focus on the division and hope for the Browns to lose tomorrow to the Ravens and then win in Cincy next week and win the division. Hopefully they can hold off the Bills for the two seed as well and we can maybe get another shot at them here at Heinz Field in the playoffs. I’d like to get another shot at the Bills with a healthier team.

Tied with Chiefs ain't good enoug. KC wins the tie on common opponents. They have to be one game ahead of KC. 1st bye is real longshot.

Exactly by losing this game tonight even if the Steelers win out their last 3 games and finish 14-2 and the Chiefs lose in New Orleans next week they still need the Chiefs to lose another game to either the Falcons or Chargers one of the last 2 weeks and that is just asking way too much at this point. As you said they lose the common opponents tiebreaker so they need to finish one game ahead of the Chiefs to overtake them in the standings.

This Steelers team at this point just needs to get healthy, hopefully wrap the division up next week if the Browns lose tomorrow to the Ravens and they win in Cincy and just get back to playing more consistent football going into the playoffs. This team is still 11-2 and still in a pretty good position overall. So it’s frustrating these last two losses but I don’t think it’s time to completely go off the rails and push the panic button just yet.

I understand that but have to tie them before passing them.

It’s a long shot for sure after losing tonight, bad loss.

The opportunity for a bye week is pretty much gone. The focus needs to be on securing the division, and with it a home playoff game. I think that the Ravens will take the Browns down again tonight, and if that happens a win vs. Cincinnati clinches the division. If we get to that point, seeding should take a back seat to getting the team rested and as healthy as possible for the postseason. This team looks TIRED.

The Bengals will probably beat us as well .. I have no confidence in this Team to adjust to think outside the box a bit or to develope the correct game plans.. We have won a lot of games this year and most of them was beacuse of Talent and luck other Teams are getting better and we are getting hurt..I am affraid us Steeler fans are not going to like what we see the rest of this season..If I had confidence in the coaching staff then the best thing to do might be to just shut it down until the post season , but we would be a healthy mess .

They should just move the game to Tuesday at 2:40 am or Wednesday 3:45 am. Our team would welcome the change with open arms as they've been doing all season.

This Bengal game could not have come at a better time. Hopefully the Steelers can get an easy win and be as healthy as possible for Indy and Cleveland.

How many wins have been easy for this 11-2 team this year? The answer may surprise you.
