You do seem to need them, so you are very welcome.

If Ben and Fictner are set in their dink and dunk offense and Tomlin just goes along with it, I have no choice but offer some advice.

If they continue to throw 50 times a game if they increased the depth of throw to maybe something wild like 5.5 yds per attempt they could handle the odd drop. If they throw for 3 yds per attempt a drop is a drive killer.

Ben willing to go under center more. The few times he does it’s a run 99% of the time and everyone knows it.

What happened to Ben's pump fake? DL's are just standing there waiting for him to throw so they can jump up and block or tip his pass.

This whole conversation reminds me of Jaws.

Is Roonatic wealthy or a college boy? I'm certainly not the former. The latter could describe me, but it could also describe him.

I absolutely do have the education to admit when I'm wrong. I'm just not wrong on this. I'm arguing that the Pittsburgh defense was better with Bud Dupree than it is without him. I don't understand how anyone who has watched this team since the start of last season could possibly think otherwise.

Oh I dont take sides on this just that it reminded me of that scene. I spent too much time pushing back against ideas like Willie Parker couldn't catch or the myth of wasted roster spots to wade back into this pool.

I argued that the Steelers won't miss Dupree. Scribe as usual is 100% mouth, nil in all other areas.

Awesome cast and writing. Robert Shaw was brilliant as Quint. His speech toward the end of the movie about his harrowing experience during the sinking of the USS Indianapolis and waiting to get rescued was arguably the greatest single acting monologue of the 70's.

Anyway, I agree with pretty much everything in the OP. I think Kevin Dotson has shown he deserves to play every down. KD being a superior run blocker and adequate pass blocker trumps Okorafor as a good pass blocker and a poor run blocker. I think the fact that Okorafor is in there is yet another example of Ben's influence on how this offense is manned and executed.

Actually, I'm using my fingers. You do realize we all type on this board, right?

What I am is 100 percent correct. Your argument looked terrible when you made it, based on what we've seen from Dupree since the start of last season, and it looks even worse after Highsmith's first start. He was decent, but he was not Dupree.

I wonder if they could use a freakishly athletic, veteran outside linebacker against guys like Josh Allen.

One of my favorite all time movie scenes. You notice towards the very end of the movie when the Orca is sinking that he tosses a life vest to Brody and Hooper but doesn’t have one for himself. Classic movie.

I'm sceptical that you believe that considering your touch-ups & positioning on what we disagreed about in the 1st place.

i agree with cheering them on without Dupree. We don’t have much choice. We all still want them to win and he isn’t going to be playing.
