Predict James Conner's stats against the Bills

Given the last two games, I think Conner becomes a focal point early in an attempt to establish the run. Hopefully, it works better than it has recently... I'm optimistic but I'm thinking 16 rushes for 97 yards and a TD. Thoughts?

FWIW, I think a huge part of Pittsburgh's problems recently is the lack of Conner's presence. He's not an All-Pro guy but he's a safety blanket for Ben who keeps drives going more times than not. He's an easy check-down on second-and-third down. I'm excited about his return!

I'm glad he's back as well. Steelers seem to have no faith in Snell. Hopefully we will see a more balanced attack this week.

I'm not expecting much, honestly. I'd love to see him have a monster game, but based on his history, I wouldn't count on it.

I'm not optimistic that they can scheme running plays. I also have doubts that they think they can just throw their way out of trouble. If there were fewer dropped passes, they probably beat Washington.

I'll say 11 carries for 36 yards.

It doesn't matter who is running the ball with our play calling and blocking. If the Skins knew what plays we were running and stuffed the run, you really think Conner makes a difference if he played or against the Bills? Is there magic involved here? Definition of insanity comes to mind.

 

I expect him to have a good game. I'm guessing 15 carries 85 yards. Add a few catches to that and he will have 100+ total yards from scrimmage. The Steelers don't have a good #2 RB and we've seen the drop off with Conner being gone. I know there are a lot of people who dislike Conner around here, but if he can stay healthy, he makes this offense a different team. We need him.

 

Thinking 47 yards, but with Pouncey back, I'll change it to 48 yards.

 

So I can expect our offense to completely dominate on the ground this game. Great, for a while I was worried.

 

Umm. MT hardly game plans against specific teams weaknesses. I look for Conner to have about 15 carries tops.

I won’t have to post my silly for the love of gad rant this week to the disappointment of many. The Bills are susceptible to the run and Conner has fresh legs. Look for a big Steeler run game!
