I've never understood most people's reaction to Alex Smith. He's pretty damn good! He's not Montana but, still, better than most. SF should have kept him.

Lol they were bored. They werent taking them seriously do you not understand that everyone on their current team are Champs. Why do they need to go all out to beat the broncos in a reg season game to prove sowmthing lol? They waiting for the playoffs a reg season game vs deeper doesn't excite them. And I said that scores this quickly and easily. Listen to what the analysts and aficionados are saying about kc its a reason despite pitt having the better record everyone had the chiefs number 1 every week on the power rankings. And they have the best player in the world by like a wide margin.

Washington is a contender, they're tied for first place in the NFC East.

He really should have never been a #1 overall pick though.

I brought up us being one dimensional in a past thread. Randy needs to get his head out of his ass, or maybe out of Ben’s ass and get more creative on offense.

This is what's so frustrating about Tomlin. He puts up a competitive team every year, but there's always details that are lacking that he thinks can just be ignored. There was no reason not to sign an RB off the street this off-season but for some reason he stubbornly sticks to the mediocre at best stable of drafted RBs on the roster. Why? You can't let Ben run the whole team here.

They did sign a RB off the street in Wendell Smallwood, and they drafted one this year.

Washington is better than their record indicates, they waisted the first 5 or 6 weeks with bad QB's Smith isn't great but he doesn t make many mistakes,
Their coach did what you pay coaches to do make changes at half time to improve your chances of winning, our coach not so much.
Ben does get a lot of balls batted down because every team knows the ball is coming out in 2.3 seconds, if you can't get there put your hands up.
If Ben can't sneak it do what a lot of teams do bring in your second QB to take a snap and go forward 10 inches.

I hope we can get healthy, find a running game and put this steaming pile of sh!t behind us.

So what, the Giants are a losing team too, and they went to Seattle and beat them with a backup QB.

Meh they weren't going to go undefeated anyway. And I'd rather have a championship than an undefeated season anyway.

I'm not sure what team you were watching tonight, but the Steelers do not look like a real threat to win a Super Bowl right now. The injuries are piling up on defense, and teams have figure out the offense. Roethlisberger was rushing throws all night. The pass to McFarland on that fourth down was terrible. It was a bad decision and a bad throw. He had time. That pass has to go elsewhere.

I watched some plays Den vs KC. Lock gave it to Gordon a few rimes from the shotgun and had great success. What I noticed was how quick Lock got the ball to Gordon, and his acceleration to the line...of course with a hole there lol. Our backs do not have that acceleration, and our OL (or scheme) gets no push.

The dink and dunk can work, but usually Brady also had a RB to keep a D honest. W/O a running game, those 1-2 yard passes are being covered almost immediately, it worked a little better in the first half as they were playing softer. They tightened that coverage in the 2nd half and Ben just kept going with it, the tips were eventually going to come back and bite..and they sure did.

    How about both?!

Regarding Randy, many had already caught onto him last season. The day after the San Francisco game, he ended up blaming Mason for not pushing the ball down the field enough. However, Mason was told by Randy to take what the defense gives him?! Huh?!?!

Make up your mind Randy!!!!!

As long as we don't live in our fears, because obviously, the standard is the standard and next man up.
