Say what you want about a lot that happened but if Watt falls on that fumble. We are one 1st down away from going up at least 10. Do our normal little 2 yard passes. Insanely stupid. I get the offense has been brutal but they were basically in FG range. No reason to try to scoop and score. He looked pretty average for most of the game without Bud too.

Clearly we have to bring back Harrison to give him a better partner on the other side of the formation. I'll get on the phone right now and get it done.

How do you blame a player that MADE a play (forcing a fumble) as opposed to an offense that couldn't score from the 6 inch line 5 times?

Yeah, he made a great play but then made an even dumber play. How you think you can pick the ball up in that situation and just run it back like nobody from Washington is around you is just mind boggling.

It took many failures to lose that game. The pathetic running offense was part of it. Watt's mistake was costly as well. He didn't lose the game for the Steelers, but it was a stupid error that was among the things that helped Washington win.

Yea that was a big play that won’t show up in the box score him not getting that fumble back but it didn’t cost them the game.

Thats funny because I was saying at least we know Bud being out won’t hurt Watt. He was all over as usual.

Really that is the best you got? Thats like blaming the last superbowl loss on David Johnson for being a piss poor excuse for a lead blocker. Let's cast the net broader. Ebron for his whiff on Young, and his 4 drops, DJ for his drops, Ben for not checking out of hey lets throw it to Tackle eligible Hawkins, the Ol for piss poor run blocks. Butler for not finding a way to cover the middle zone, TJ for holding, Vwill for jumping the 1st gap again and getting caught on a pick that should have been obvious. Ben for not scrambling the 1 yard necessary to keep the drive alive, Tomlin for playing favorites with his wrs, Ben because come on bro really thst many batted balls. McCloud you're dead to me. But yes the failed fumble recovery is the winner it kings all. Wait nope im wrong its garbage m

Iwould think the wr's not catching the damn ball had more effect on us losing, than Watt did... If Snell? would have caught the pass coming out of the bckfield he would have scored a Td,

How about not taking the points on an a 4th down near the goal line? Or how about the officials letting the skins kick a fg with no time after running off the field with the ball?

tomlin’s propensity to gamble puts us in position to lose to bad teams... tomin’s record against bad teams is bad for a reason... and thats half of it. The other half is lack of preparation.

bad officials didn’t help... dropped balls was the nail in the coffin. We will be lucky to go 2-2 the next 4 weeks.

That’s true, bad decisions by Tomlin definitely contributed to this loss.

It was a bad effort all around, players to coaches.

This game turned on the last Steelers possession of the first half. The drive started from their own 20 with 50 plus seconds on the clock and one time out. Three and out, bad punt and a chance for WFT to get into FG range before the half, which they did. The Steelers almost looked like they never recovered from that. How much of this play calling is on Randy Fichtner and how much of it is Roethlisberger? That three and out before the FG fiasco almost made it look like they were ready to go to the locker room.

I don't blame him for the loss at all. But I knew the offense would not be able to.manage a drive the rest of the game. So it certainly cost them the game.

    Sorry. It just did.

Not saying that play cost them the game but it was a bone head play. I said it from the time it happened. This was again a very uninspired team. Every little minor boneheaded play begins to pile up for a team that's struggling and we are. These plays have to be made. One aw chit takes away all those atta boy's.

Whoever did call the offensive plays needs to be talked to. After Sweat tipped what seemed to be ten passes and Ebron dropped the same number of passes, the O dialed up a pass directed towards Sweat with Ebron as the intended receiver. Pass tipped and intercepted. Game over
