A way for the refs to say they F ed up...former Official on fox said usually the 'Kick" ball is brought in, but when there is so little time they use the game ball...problem is Alex Smith ran off the field with the game ball...so refs stopped the clock with no penalty for the WTF football team

 

It's Washington's responsibility to get ball on the field. That's absolute BS!

That FG should not stand. Offense was out of TO and did a butch move by removing the ball. You keep the clock running until you retrieve the ball. That places the penalty on the illegal action just as it should. Washington would not have had time to kick.

h3ll in this case I’m teaching my QB to take the ball and will actually include that as a practiced play. Think about it. It sets precedent. Imagine that, gad forbid, in post season for the win? Ridiculous.
