I have seen more gloom and doom being posted on here this season, then i have seen on here the last two seasons.......Life is short people enjoy the season and stop being sop damn negative all the time .. ffs

Steelers can beat the Football Team. It's the Bills on the road I worry about... and I'm one of the most negative members here. I think Tomlin will have the Steelers ready to wreak havoc against WFT, for redemption of the lackluster showing vs. Ravens.

I stopped reading at "so called fans". Calling someone else's fandom into question sort of erodes credibility and obscures the point. Just my opinion.

Don't mind me. I just like to complain. I'm glad we're 11-0 nor does it matter how it happened but they really need to start playing more consistently better if they want to make any noise in the post season. Losing DuPree yesterday is going to be a big challenge going forward.

I like the way AQL usually does it in the Good, Bad, and Ugly threads. I do not think critiquing a teams performance makes it negative, anymore than looking through rose colored glasses makes one the greatest fan of all time.

The Steelers performance may have been my fault. All I did was wave my terrible towel and stick pins in my John Harbaugh and HeinzMustard voodoo dolls.

I just enjoy the ride, win or lose. It's a better ride when we're winning but always enjoy watching the Steelers play football.

Some are just Steeler win fans, don't put any effort into getting stronger with adversity. They just start spouting off about the dominate team at the moment.

All the omg look at the Ravens was entertaining though. :lolol:

Maybe i'm in the minority but I don't see a lot of doom and gloom. Maybe i'm not looking hard enough. 11-0. Its quite amazing.

Reality is, the challenge in the post season. Hopefully holding on to the 1st seed. Wish KC would just lose another game which would be a good cushion.

Life is not all sunshine and roses for everyone. Fans of this team are diverse and have their own opinions. If you don't like what someone is talking about you can just walk away from the keyboard, move on. That's what I do most times. I try to understand rather then being understood most times. I'm not perfect.

Sometimes the bickering back and forth gets annoying. PM your enemy and jaw back and forth there. I guess its not the grand stage at that point right?!

We all are here as Steeler Fans. This is a message board after all, a place to vent about the team we love.

    Here's to 12-0 :drinks:

This brings to mind for me what is so frustration about us. We have well over a week to prepare and rest for the Rats, although not ideally what you'd think of with so much time we had, and we're stating we should destroy them and blah blah blah, against arguably one of the worst teams to take an NFL field so far this year, at home, and we barely win the game. Now, we have a short week against a much better team that will be fielded and we'll win by 3 scores. I have no idea what the hell we'll do but I wouldn't be surprised if we blow them out. Be nice to beat the Skins and have the Stains drop one against the Titans.

If any of our receivers didn’t have butterfingers we blow them out. Bud likely is still healthy too

Tomlin called the team a junior varsity team and said they sucked this week. Does that make him not a fan?

I would not say gloom and doom in fact I think it is nervous energy looking forward to the possible pitfalls of the upcoming opponents. To be honest I am very grateful to have sports in 2020 and with all this other sh*t going on. The Steelers game every week along with Notre Dame are 2 of the things I have looked forward to this fall, what a ride it’s been.

I may question moves or look at possible deficiencies but you can bet every week I am there with my teams.

The potential pitfalls began in Week 1 and repeated each and every week since and will continue the remainder of the season. And yet somehow, someway, the Steelers are 11-0. Something's going on here and it's "spectacular and real". ;)

This. A fan is someone who cheers for their team and wants them to win. Expecting the team to win or lose is irrelevant when it comes to being a fan. What if we were 0-11, would we still be expected to assume a win? What about if we were 6-5? What about 8-3? At what record are fans allowed to be pessimistic about the next game?

I agree, but have to admit the enjoyment of watching them throughout most of the 80's was induced with chemical enhancement.

Agree, Shouldn't challenge someone's fandom because everyone cheers their team in their own way. I know die hard fans who wish their team to lose. You'd say they can't be fans. Well, what if their team has no talent and no future with the players they have and want a better draft pick? Are they not fans? Who is anyone to criticize how people show their fandom as if there is a school book solution on how it should be done or its contrary to somebody's expectations that are not met. JMO>

It kinda got hard to get excited gametime in the 80s. Cowher is loved because he turned that around. Tomlin is disrespected because it's hard to improve on where we have been at.
