Probably that. Giving him rest and avoiding fines I hope

Although Ben is questionable I would still expect him to play minus us hearing some development tomorrow.

Boswell is a little tricker to decipher. I would imagine he’s a true game time decision. Not very good for our kicking game I can’t imagine.

Nelson will not play Monday and let’s hope that’s more the result of the short week than a long term injury. Still haven’t gotten any info on the MRI from what I can see. Would like to see a lot of Sutton Monday but they must like Layne outside which is a lot more risky to me.

Pouncy Connor and Hawkins are all still on Covid list and unless Hawkins is activated tomorrow will all be out.

Pretty sure Ben hurt his knee or both on a tackle couple games ago. Think he came out for a play, too.

You think he sits or plays Monday?

Would be shocked if Ben didn’t play. On the bright side, he at least gives his arm some rest.

Maybe Randy can consider not throwing 50 times a game? I doubt it.

Gonna be hard to fight off the undefeated status, while fighting chiefs for the number 1 seed, and maintaining health.

    We do not care, though

If the running game was more effective, Ben wouldn't have to throw it 50 times a game.

Possibly. Maybe if they really committed to the run and showed a little variety, it would be more effective.

Explain something to me. What does "Questionable, not injury related/knee" mean? He's questionable because his knee hurts, but it wasn't injured? Old age arthritis? Rheumatis from cold weather? Left knee is depressed because right knee get too much credit?

That was the Dallas game. He sat out the series before the half. They had sent him to the locker room early, then the defense forced a turnover.

Looks like they won't have Nelson. I'm guessing no Boswell, either. They can't risk going into the game with an injured kicker.

Hard to say what’s going on with Boz, but hip isn’t the best... Really anything below the waist isn’t great. Hopefully it’s just a little stiffness and they’re being cautious.

We do have a kicker on the PS, Wright, I think his name is? Might be the wright time to call him up.

    sorry.

Yes, they have Matthew Wright on the practice squad. The Steelers had him in training camp in 2019 as a rookie out of UCF. He hasn't kicked in an NFL game. The Steelers added him to the practice squad a week or two ago. Maybe Boswell has been dealing with something minor for a little while now.

This is where the short week really screws the Steelers. They just don't have the time to sort this stuff out. Maybe Nelson and Boswell could have played if there was a full week, but I would be very surprised to see them play Monday.

We say we need Conner, and if injuries prevent put in Snell. But what I question is do they need to replace the running back coach along with the OC . I think coach Tomlin needs to get from behind those shades and start coaching his coaches.

They don't give the run game enough of a chance to see out if it's effective. The game plan barely includes it.

Missing the start of the game, probably not.

    Finishing the game, hmm....

NFC loss, not the end of the world.

But would definitely be a wake up call if the Raven performance didn’t do that.
