I told you people this is not your grandmother's Browns. These boys are going to make the Playoffs. I'm no longer sold on Lamar Jackson. Once Ben goes the Bengals and Browns going to have two best QB's in our division.

Baker hasn't been particularly good though. The Browns protect him with a very strong running game. I don't see them contending unless Baker significantly improves.

While I do agree he is not top tier he will be enough to keep the Browns ahead of the Steelers once Ben retires.

Deny it all you want, the Browns are a much improved, loaded with talent, football team. Is Mayfield an elite qb? Hardly. Is he a young qb who could become very good? Absolutely. He wants to win, and he has the desire to improve. Give him a few years with the same coaching staff and playbook, something he has not had in his first three years, and then see where he's at. When Ben retires, which I believe he will after this season, the Browns' will be a better overall team than the Steelers. Chubb and Hunt are an awesome RB tandem. Their O-line is very good. Landry and TE Hooper are very good recievers. While their defense is suspect, Miles Garrett is a beast. That's just a fact. Take off your Steeler glasses and be honest. Browns are once again a legimate NFL football team. And also very young. Love my Steelers, but I can still be honest about other teams. Even the Browns.

We don't know who the Steelers QB will be when Ben retires, so I'm not conceding nothing to the Browns.

Carson Wentz:) Ben retires and Wentz contract up and we get him. I was told that today by a few eagle fans. I wouldn't mind. I believe Mason is going to be our QB.

Browns stacked up their O to compete for a playoff game like yesterday. They forgot about a defense. No way are they more talented top to bottom than the Steelers, even without Ben. A winning record is the Browns ceiling. By the time they reboot that laughable defense they will be looking for talent again to prop up Mayfield.

This thread to be re-visited next season. As for now the Cleveland browns are a playoff team but still below our mighty boys.

27 years from now the Steelers will have the best qb in the division. Bigscore Burress, Baker the touchdown maker & Longball Lamar won't be around anymore.

Idk. Wentz looked so good as a rookie but it just seems like every year since he's regressed.

They are much improved but KC will carve up that secondary.

Not only did they lose to the Jets, they beat the Steelers in each of the next two weeks, How much could you have won if you bet that the Monday after the NYJ game.

The only reason those idiots made the playoffs was courtesy of the Steelers and resting players. Mason should have beat them if we had any intelligent coaching
