With that logic what's the Jets excuse?

The Ravens said they had charted an extra plane to provide more space for social distancing. But even with that its got to be masks on the whole flight and nobody moves.

Ravens only need 11 guys to get on the plane/train/bus/wagon whatever to play. They can play both offense defense and special teams.

Take their temperature and get them to Pittsburgh.

Strangely the way the league operates is that those 75 million for five year contracts are paid to the players in game day checks. No game no check. Its also the reason most players need a good accountant as they have to pay city and state taxes for the games they play at other locations. Bettis used to tell a funny story about James Harrison cashing his first game check and walking out of the bank with it in cash lol.

Indefensible? The NFL is the only league to even attempt a full season and so far it's been successful. Games have been moved, but nothing has been cancelled yet. The NFL has handled it the best they can. All NFL and team staff are getting paid. Fans get to watch the games. It's the best of a bad situation.

The games have been screwed up by covid, but so has the entire world. No matter what they do, someone will complain.

The NFL has policies in place to keep players from getting covid. The NFL also decided that regardless of who is available, the game will go on, provided the outbreak was contained. Players and teams knew that. If anything, it would be unfair to all the teams that followed the rules if games got postponed due to players being unavailable.

That last part is the key. The league set out guidelines. If they start violating those guidelines for a situation like the one that hit the Broncos, then there would be chaos. It absolutely sucked, but I'm not sure they had much of a choice but to play the game on time.

Even the logic for not letting them have an assistant coach suit up made sense. If the league allows that, then teams can use the coaching staff as a place to stash potential players.

The only reason raven steeler fan has been moved a million times is it would screw Baltimore and Goodall is right with ravens owner and golf buddies. Notice no one gave a crap for Broncos yesterday. But commish golf buddy on his way out of playoffs if they had to play Steelers and cowboys without Lamar

Wait, I thought Goodell was golf buddies with Kraft and loved Brady and hates the Raiders? Has it changed?

I thank the NFL for making my Survivor pick decision easy this week.

the Broncos QB had more interceptions than completions, that hadn't happened since Ryan Leaf in 1998.

This game is actually going to be postpone JUST because of the Ravens, isn't it?

Apples and oranges. The Jets management and coaching staff are apparently incompetent and have been for years. If their fans are silly enough to spend money for tickets, merchandise and religiously watch the games, then that's their problem.

Really seems like the Ravens are trying to get it postponed because they don’t like that they will be short handed. Follow the rules next time, jackass. I would love it if Goodell doesn’t cancel and Ravens need to fly out at midnight :lolol:

We are going to have to agree to disagree. The show must go on, I get all of that. The Broncos could have handled their business better, no doubt about it. The NFL with all of it's resources, could have done the same. It's not like they were out of long snappers.

Ravens players still have not been given any guidance on when or if the team will be leaving for Pittsburgh, per sources. Chances of postponement for Tuesday night’s game now increasing by the hour.

There is absolutely 0% chance this game is played tomorrow. It will be moved to week 18. The ravens haven't even received word on when they're leaving for Pittsburgh.

they are waiting for the test results to come in.. if the results are adequate, they'll head to pittsburgh.. the actual time they leave seems irrelevant, the nfl will have them leave at midnight if the results take that long. they want the game played tomorrow.

    exactly.

It was reported they had planned on leaving Tuesday morning, so it really doesn't matter if they haven't left yet, since the game is at night.

Again, the rules were laid out. if you follow the protocol then you're probably not going to be in the situation the Broncos were in. Reports are that the QB's were in meetings with no masks. And somehow this is the big bad NFL's fault. I'm nut sure what your gripe is? Do you think the Broncos followed all the rules and now are getting picked on for bad luck?
