    Haha what’s nuts?

Steelers QB Coach Canada tests positive, but Ben is ok because they weren’t close.

    Hahahahahahaha!

I'm going to go ahead and say we are not playing them in the Super Bowl. Tommy boy, welcome to the aging process and suck it.

We will get revenge on Green Bay.:sneak:

Forgot they resigned him to the PS after they cut him! In that case, just hide him in the cave near Uniontown.

Games were postponed due to players continuing to test positive.

    According to the CBSSports article:
"It's also possible the league decided not to give the Broncos any sort of benefit of the doubt after it was discovered the team wasn't following the NFL's COVID protocols. According to Mark Maske of The Washington Post, all four quarterbacks failed to wear masks in meetings and after Driskel tested positive, the other three quarterbacks weren't cooperative with the contact tracers from the NFL and NFLPA."

So you're saying the only games to get postponed were where players continued to test positive but if no new positives, the games continued? How long do they have to have no positves to get the green light?

Interesting. If that is true, that is even more damming for the league since both the titans and rats were supposedly not following protocol either. I guess I'm just confused about the rules the NFL seems to be making up on the fly.

I’m not 100% sure of the timeline the NFL has established or if they’ve even made it public. Teams have extra P.S. spots for this reason. Best to plan and stash a QB on there and isolate him. Forward thinking here. They’ve already said they aren’t postponing games for competitive reasons. Only for risk of further spreading the virus.

Rick Mirer? Another high first round choice (Seattle) that was a bust.

The 'it is also possible' is conjecture, but the lack of consistency will show more in the coming weeks as this continues.

You may be right but it seems inconsistent to me.

I couldn't agree more. Was in the car this afternoon listening to our local 93.7 The Fan sports show. Caller was grinding on the whole scenario where the Steeler's could lose a first round bye because of Covid rescheduling, blah, blah. Finally, the host had to fairly yell at the guy basically telling him that it's all about the money. The NFL wants the whole schedule played to whatever end necessary to satisfy their TV contracts. Quality of product, fairness and player safety be damned. Remember, this is the league that denied the seriousness of concussions until they were presented with overwhelming evidence to the contrary. I am in no way advocating a league wide boycott but if I was a Broncos fan, I would've refused to watch today's game.

Yeah I don't see them getting to the SB at all, although it's not due to Brady, it's due to Asians.

TB leads the league in deep passes even though Brady is terrible at them. Arians is arrogant and stubborn. His offence sucks and it's hurting the team more than anything. Brady hasn't been a deep ball guy in a long time, but Arians continues trying to make him one.

So glad Arians is gone. He was horrible and still is.

I think it is about identifying the close contacts. If those continuing to test positive were already identified it is less of a problem then someone not identified testing positive. Then they have a new cluster of people to worry about. The news says they test for the strain of the virus, presumably so they are confident that it is only one outbreak.

Totally agree. It is about pandering to the diminishing base. If the donkeys were 7-3, i bet some new cases would have emerged and the game would have been postponed. Anyone who doesn't think this is about the money is delusional.

my understanding is that it is constantly mutating.

The report explained that in the UK alone there are "tens to hundreds of genetically distinct lineages of SARS-CoV-2 currently circulating, with some coming from first wave introductions and others recently imported."
