Lol I can see the Steelers getting a first round bye and the NFL forcing them to use the bye week as a make up game (provided the Ravens aren't in the playoffs).

Why the green font? Roger has screwed other things up just as bad. I can see us playing for the conference in week 18 and the Chiefs already being given the bye. I can see one of their opponents having a starter with a hangnail and Roger making them forfeit to make sure none of the Chiefs comes in contact with it.

It would suck if the Ravens had to book 15 busses and drive to Pittsburgh on Saturday with 5-8 players on each bus 6 ft apart.

Yeah virtually no chance this game goes ahead now. League has a choice here, move the game to week 18 or make the Ravens forfeit. Simple as that.

it should be noted that the Ravens would benefit a lot from the first option as that would involve adding an additional playoff team. They are one spot off the playoffs right now

When I think simple, I think oreo cookies, two cookies icing in the middle. That's simple, this is negotiating the ninth circle of hell.

I see the green, but this is exactly the type of thing that will cause the league to cancel (not forfeit) games and then expand the po's to 8 teams. Thus there will be no byes for the po's. They will go to a % for seedings, so a no loss Steelers would still be top seed, a 15-1 KC will have a 93.75 %, a 14-1 Steeler team would have a 93.33%...have no idea if they would calculate this way, but a lot of pissed off people it this comes to pass.

They won't put arena football on and try to butch it up. Just not happening. They will postpone before putting on the basic premise of the movie the Replacements.

I am of the opinion that all these football betting sites are dropping a giant duece over the constantly changing conditions of this game. Potential for lots of money to change hands.

**** them. They deserve to forfeit. They've been playing like crap lately.. Now they get a bye week to regroup, an 18th week with an added 8th playoff team (they're 8th seed), and they're going to cost us a potential playoff bye.

This would actually be a fantastic idea. They could even move the Steelers/Redskins game to Tuesday, then let the Steelers/Ravens play next Sunday.
If not that, then F-the Ravens and make them forfeit for being irresponsible.

They made the Patriots play without Cam Newton. Ravens should be no different.

Could be even worse than that. If they reschedule the game to week 18:
    A) Steelers can be undefeated and have the #1 seed locked up.
    B) Having to play week 18 against the Ravens desperate to get in the playoffs
    C) Every other playoff team having the week off
    D) League goes to the 8 team playoff, meaning that the Steelers wouldn't get a buy, even as #1 seed, but EVERY OTHER TEAM, except the Ravens, would have a buy week.

I think the issue is more that the Ravens have ZERO prep time, than they don't have the bodies. They haven't been able to practice all week and won't be able to until after Sundays game. The more I think about it, Steelers vs Redskins and Cowboys/Ravens on Wednesday next week, then Steelers/Ravens next Monday is the answer. NFL caught a break that all 4 teams that were supposed to play each other today are playing each other next weekend. Its a simple fix.

    ** EDIT**

Or Steelers/Redskins Tuesday giving them an extra day of prep for the Ravens, which they deserve for being put through this horse$hit.

So, Goodell transferred loyalty to the Chiefs from the Patriots? Who else will he fall in love with just to screw the Steelers?
