I was really looking forward to watching them play on Thanksgiving. Oh well, at least this will give Juju's toe problem some additional time to heal up.

This would be far less annoying if it weren't the Ravens and we didn't know that this is most likely a result of Harbaugh whining. And if the NFL hadn't made it seem like teams were just going to have to roll with it when players tested positive.

I think those players that tested positive will still not be available for Sunday.

Their players are testing positive; not out because of contact tracing. Funny, I have not heard of any Baltimore players being out because of contact tracing?

If Mike Tomlin's we do not care comment is true.

    I can't buy it,

The Steelers players are furious. But I think it's a good thing for them to be angry. Bring on the angry!!!

Don't even bother trying for the #1 seed. If we get it you know damn well that the NFL will take the bye away anyway.

I'd assume that they are not 100% sure they can contain a spread from Ravens facilities to the Steelers at this time.

Agree. Playing this with an us against them, no respect attitude will only help.

In other news, maybe Mike Glennon can work his magic for the Steelers this time.

I thought if you actually tested positive (ala McDonald) you had to be 'on the list' for a certain amount of time - like 2-3 weeks and have clean tests so long before you were allowed to come back. If you were in the contact tracing but never tested positive, you had to be negative/symptom free for like 4-5 days to be allowed to play. So if they test positive they should be out 10-14 days min i think.

Hate to sound like i'm defending the rats, but if more guys failed their tests today - it's pretty hard for the NFL to permit them to travel and play when guys could still be testing positive tomorrow or Friday. This is how Tennesee jacked things up for a number of people. They kept having people test positive in successive days.

Wow talk about catering to Hairball and the $hitbirds.

At least they will have as many people as possible, so we don't have to hear any whining when the Steelers beat dat ass.

Hang half a 100 on them, run the table 19-0 and then maybe the NFL will give us the respect we deserve  :goodellsucks::ratssuck::ratbirds:

Whatever. I've vented and am over it. It will just be particularly annoying if we get slammed with Covid and the league does nothing to help us out.

We really need to curb stomp the Ravens and end their season.

Anyone positive needs minimum 10 days followed by three consecutive negative tests I think. For players with close contact, it will help them.

My guess is that with additional players testing positive as the week has gone on, the NFL is playing it safe. Had the Sunday tests been the end of it, the game would have gone on. If additional players and coaches test positive today, tomorrow and beyond, then the NFL will have clearly made the right call.

I doubt most of us out of the Pittsburgh area will get the game now, because KC and TB play play the late CBS game. Hopefully NBC gets to keep the game and can play it late afternoon.

I had a feeling... no sense getting mad over something I cannot control. I have had too many bad Thanksgiving memories with the Steelers as it is -

1983 – Blowout loss to Lions
    1991 – Loss to Dallas
1998 – The Bettis coin toss fiasco
    2013 – Tomlin's sideline dance
