Still not right in his “minds”. Compare the difference between his response and Calvin Johnsons response when compared to Claypool. He always did need an attitude adjustment, part of the reason he is out of the NFL.

Oh, and you’re not faster, Bryant, you both ran 4.42 only Claypool has about 30lbs on you.

Claypool has all the physical tools MB had plus has his head on straight. That’s why one will go on to be a great NFL receiver and the other is a never was.

Martavis Bryant is more comparable to Chris Henry. A very gifted athlete with a 10 cent brain. Hopefully he doesn't end up like him. That would be very tragic.

I actually agree with Martavis here. Chase Claypool will NEVER be Martavis Bryant. Why?!

Chase Claypool will always be gainfully employed by Pittsburgh!! :lolol:

Martavis could have had a hell of a career, but we all know what happened and so does he... Him making this comment just shows he's bitter that he flamed out, or worse, he still doesn't get it. Such a waste.

He piss tested away his prime. Chuck Noll had specific words for clowns like that, "You are going to fun yourself right out of the league." That he did.

Has he been reinstated? Or did he get the death penalty? He's not that old right?

I agree, there is nothing funny about this. This is very sad. This guy has some mental issues, and pissed away a life that most could only dream of.
He could of been something special in the Burg.
I cant help but feel sorry cause I honestly think something is wrong in his head. Such a shame.

I feel its an insult to Claypool to be compared to that idiot. Everything MB did he did to himself. Sad? No, that is the result of the choices he made and wanted. This is what he wanted and I could care less.

I agree, he made these choices and now he has to deal with it.
The choices he made though I feel are due to Mental Illness, and its okay to feel sad for someone that wasted so much due to it.
He has talked openly many times about dealing with depression. If you have dealt with severe depression you would know that it is all encompassing.
He is going to hate himself so much for the rest of his life over his decisions. So his depression will get worse and worse unless he gets help.
    I hope he does.

MB was always the guy with a huge upside.....which is what they say about a guy who has the tools but never materializes.

It's typically the result of a bad upbringing and being coddled instead of spanked.....both literally and figuratively.

i wouldn't say all that. dude was a force on the field. he was more than upside, he had a real talent that was displayed when he played. he just couldn't stay out of trouble. That broncos playoff game he had almost 200 total yards.

    I don’t even remember him.

That usually happens when I don’t care for someone.

The guy started 20 games in his entire career. There simply isn't enough data to say he ever achieved anything beyond upside.

Claypool has already surpassed him in virtually every category.

Martavis Bryant....the Axl Rose of the Steelers. Bryant had a ton of potential and natural talent, but was never right psychologically.

    MB couldn't wear /sniff Claypoole's jockstrap.
There really is no comparison with these two One is a dope smoker
and the other is a world class athlete and budding superstar.

Bryant was one of the few Steelers who showed up for 60 minutes in our last playoff debacle vs Jaguars. He made some great plays...when Steelers were trying to catch up.
