Butler is Dan Rooney's boy. Fitchner I theorize is Ben's selection. I could be off base here but I think Tomlin's choices would be more diverse.

Tomlin will get the lion's share of blame, but there is plenty to go around.

We were outplayed in a phases of the game. Hopefully this game is a wake up call.

I'm pretty sure you are correct but I think even Ben is frustrated with Futchner's play calling. And if the Steelers are willing to give a turd the OC position just to appease Ben, shame on the Steelers.

Think about it.....If the main reason Futchner has his job is because Ben likes to run the offense, and Futchner presents no challenge, what is going to happen if Ben ever has a major injury? Oh wait...............

Come on guys quit hating on MT, he's never had a losing season and he's won the most games as a black man. Its genius at what he's doing , its called playing possum football. The goal is to look like crap for most of the game , then turn it on at the end, its brilliant!!

He shattered that rep right after Cowher took that sign off his own back. Franchise Ben was the constant.

It happens when you have superior talent to the majority of the league. But how many games against inferior teams have been either eked out wins, or losses? Way to many.

Wow I can't even give the incredible coach a compliment without you coming to his defense again. If you're happy with the way their playing , good for you. I call it poop

I'd rather be winning knowing that we have a lot of work to do and a lot of improvement, I'd rather have this doubt because it will get guys to work harder, a winning team that is not complacent wld be good

3 games in a row where they only played half a game, dont think that'll be a winning formula in the playoffs.

He’s doing a great job. Now if he lost yesterday to Dallas...

Kind of like how when Mike McCarthy, Sean Payton, Pete Carroll and John Harbaugh had such talent during the 2010s and still posted losing seasons right?! For that matter, what about the fact that the likes of McCarthy lost his job mid season in 2018, many people in Baltimore wanted John Harbaugh gone during the middle of the 2018 season, Sean Payton being constantly bounced out of the playoffs for a majority of the decade (each loss worst than the last) and Pete Carroll making the most asinine play call in Super Bowl history?! Does that factor in too?!

No coach is perfect in the NFL, period. Even the all mighty Bill Belichick will now post a losing season by years end. For that matter, who knows how much longer he wants to coach?!

Long story short?! Mike Tomlin being the only Super Bowl Winning Head Coach in NFL History that has posted 14 straight seasons without a loss speaks volumes at how well he has done here. Talent alone means Jack :bscow:.

Don't believe me?! See the 2018 Pittsburgh Steelers.

He can still go 8-9. Unlikely as hell but not impossible.

Still a great job. Dallas didn't matter unless one thinks it's fail to not be the #1 playoff seed. Nobody is scared of Arrowhead just Mahomet. (Aql's nickname for him)
