I have no idea how old you are, but you are idealistic at best. You see real fans have sat through 1-13 seasons, have tasted the glory of those SB's, have sat through the dismal 80's, so and so forth. take your never questioned, never doubted crap real fan crap to the dump. Yes,I am a real fan, and because of that have every right to question and be disappointed in certain situations, and the fact you seem disappointed in someone who has passionately followed this team for 50 plus years, just makes the crap I am about to take that more pleasurable.

    It is.

To be facetious means to joke or kid around. That was my mistake though! :lolol: I forgot Green font; seldom a gaffe for me. :)

Seems every year we have a couple guys who need to brag about the size of their, er, fandom.

I've seen the best of this team (70s) and the worst. I endured horrible stretches and had my heart ripped out from bad losses (I'm looking at you, O'Donnell). I've never once turned a game off. Never once gave up on the team. But to say (accurately) that they're underperforming is somehow being a bad fan? B**** please.

Those non calls on the long snapper bother me. The rule is you can’t line up over him.
Dude was lined up right over him and shooting the gap using his hands for leverage. Got to go back and try and find the only replay they showed, but it looked s like he used his hands on them both to get through that gap! The first one Canaday’s leg buckled!

McCullers was called for just making contact when he shot the gap IIRC!

I get why people are frustrated with Roethlisberger. He did miss some passes, especially early. That said, he carried the Steelers to a win today. Pittsburgh couldn't run against one of the league's worst run defenses. The offensive line was terrible. The loss of Banner is really hurting this team. The Cowboys pushed Okorafor around far too often, including the fourth-and-one failure in the first half.

Just like last week, Roethlisberger took over. Yes, he got lucky with the roughing the passer call, but he made the Cowboys pay for it. The strip sack wasn't his fault and it doesn't happen without the illegal contact that was correctly called by the officials.

McCarthy doesn't look good. Andy Reid looks healthy even with his size. McCarthy looks like he's gonna explode. He needs to seriously consider salads with only lemon as the dressing.

The blocked extra point was questionable. Crawford used the back of the lineman to launch himself. I thought that was illegal, but I guess not.

It is. I'm still not sure how the Cowboys got away with it, but the Steelers have to be able to kick the field goal to go up eight there.

I am just having fun, if I gave 2 thoughts of the banter being thrown around here it may cause me heartburn, I have enough of that from the last minute of every game'

Nothing wrong with relaxing and having fun. It's easier even.

But some people obsess over everything. Doesn't make it better or worse. Just different.

Somehow I’ve seen almost every Dallas game this season.
    They were atrocious and quit..
All of a sudden some of their dead weight was cut.

Their Defense has been in preseason mode up until the last game.
They also have gotten some players on D back.
So their Defense is coming together.

They are loaded on Offense with talent but lacked a capable backup QB.
    Today “maybe” they found one.

I thought that the Steelers could lose this game because they just played a tough opponent in the rain last week.
A couple guys on D are banged up.
They also were exposed to COVID.
The NFL ridiculously fined them early in the week.
Steelers also made some head scratching cuts.
    Unbeaten talk.

    So there were distractions.
It showed, they had many poor plays.

Perhaps they found one, but usually this type of thing is not repeated for very long. Gilbert played well, but the Steelers were coming off a 3 game brutal stretch, and had no prep on the QB. I agree that their D looks better and in that division they should be able to take charge is their play continues like today. I think on O their real potential is if Elliot can start fo get some decent yardage, they have some decent WR.

They played their third game in a row on the road, some fans are delusional thinking the Steelers are just going to show up and blow teams out, they aren't that good to do that.

Yes and kinda hard to get into a rhythm when you only get a handful of carries.

Dallas was running Bear defense according to Romo.

Tough to run against stat, but should have been better.

He did what stud QB's are supposed to do. Like I said in another thread, Ben isn't always pretty, but 'll take the wins over style points every time.
