Just curious of what jerseys most have? I have been cautious over the past few years in buying current player jerseys because I didn't want a star player's jersey for them only to play somewhere else, like 26 (Bell) and 84.

I have a number 7 and 43 jersey as I was confident they were not going elsewhere. The other jersey's I have are 10 (Santonio Holmes), 12, 32, 86, and 88.

Yes, I know Santonio was traded away. I even picked it up after he was traded to the Jets. My reason for picking it up was I have the Steelers Super Bowl MVPs.

    Mean Joe, Lambert x3,

I'd like to get a Woodson, Aaron Smith and maybe Ham.

First Jersey was a Christmas gift in the 60's. It was John Henry Johnson. Next one I bought was when the Steelers drafted a bum named Ben R.

You just reminded me, I do have a Woodson Jersey. I just got it within the past 5 years. It is one of the 1933 throwback jerseys. It kind of looks like a rugby jersey with the shield on the front.

I have two authentic jerseys and with them I only get players that no longer play. Merriman and Lambert, both gifts. One is home and the other away colors. If I were to get replica's, then I'd get current players since they are not too expensive, not that cheap either, but not as much an investment as an authentic version.

    Currently I have,
JuJu (bought after his hit on Birthdefect)
    Watt (last year)

You need a Hines Ward jersey to go with your Santonio one. Oops you have that covered.

SB MVP this year? Other than Ben, I'd say JuJu or Claypool.

Yes, I only had to note it was Santonio so #10 wasn't mistaken for a Kordell jersey.

If and it's a big if we win the SB I hope Ben redeems himself and has huge game and wins MVP. IMO his best SB was the one we lost.

I'm done buying Jersey's I've moved on to T-shirts, Nice Sweat shirts, or Zip up jackets.

I leave the jersey buying for the kids now. Daughter has Juju, Son has TJ

But I have a lot of jersey's, but AB and Bell did me in on buying players jerseys

I did buy a color rush Devin Bush, but that is going to be it for a while I think.

John Henry was my first positive Steeler memory during very dismal times for the team. He didn't run, he galloped. Other favorites around then were Myron Pottios, Ernie Stautner, Big Daddy Lipscomb, Clendon Thomas, Buddy Dial.....

Big Daddy Lipscomb and Buddy Dial only two I remember well, beside JHJ. I was a youngster and was a paperboy for the Pittsburgh Press (doubt that's still around) and every year I won a contest for getting new customers (I cheated, with my mothers help:) which meant two Steeler tickets. Back then it was all about the Pirates for me. Steelers were not that good, but sitting on those old splinter ridden benches at old Pitt stadium I fell in love. Strange that one of my favorite memories from back then was the Cleveland Browns and Jim Brown. I was fascinated how he ran over the defense and after the game we got close to the players and a few feet away from me was a 900 foot muddy dirty giant. It was Jim. I was in awe for weeks after that.

I am not sure how many I have at this point, but it is a shockingly high number and most of them are autographed too. You name it, I've got it in all likelihood.

Of the current team I have Ben, Mason, Boswell, Conner, Claypool, 3 different JuJu, McDonald, DeCastro, Pouncey, Heyward, Devin Bush, Minkah, Watt, 2 Hiltons (both numbers he's worn 28 and 31). But definitely need to add some more guys from this team.

The latest add was a signed Claypool. I will ball park it at maybe 50 players at this point, probably more.

I've been collecting the shirts since I got my first Franco youth jersey back in 1976. Probably the prize of the collection is not a Steelers jersey but Franco's game worn 1980 Pro Bowl jersey, which is also autographed.
