Pouncey

What is up with his snaps? They were all over the place. Same as last year.

 

Have to give Ben credit yesterday. In particularly handling that worm burner and moon shot.

I wonder, was Pouncey up against a player he struggles with yesterday and was rushing himself?

 

Said the same thing to my son yesterday. He had a handful of bad snaps. Long snapper had a terrible one as well. Hopefully it was just out of the ordinary or that game only.

 

Maybe the weather played a factor?

 

He did it last year as well and that didn't help our young qbs. Ben is seasoned to reading defenses, rudolph wasn't. That takes a qbs eyes off the defense having to watch where the snap will go from snap to snap. We pay this guy around 11 mil. a season. It's not his first time playing. This is inexcusable for this to happen this often. This is going to cost us at some point if he keeps it up.

 

I think Pouncey loses focus on his snaps when he is ultra-concerned about his blocking assignments.

 

It is simple really. Maurkice is nearing the end here and those proverbial tread on those tires are beginning to rip apart. I would say he has two good years left. I hope the team drafts Creed Humphrey from the University of Oklahoma as he is the only Center that is suitable to replace Pouncey.

 

This is what I was thinking, but pouncey has been struggling, health and technique wise,, the last couple of seasons.

 

He is signed through 2021, Ben's last season as well. As said, he has had his struggles the last few seasons.
