I see many flaws. If you think this team is anywhere near the 2008 team...you are sorely mistaken. Steelers got lucky today. Harbaugh shot himself in the foot.

I mostly lurk the game day chats over the years and I even see Steeler forums getting locked until after the game where you can post because you will see the same people go off on Tomlin sucks or whatever 5 minutes into the game.

Wait if the Steelers get blown out by Cinci and you will see board meltdown and the same characters will come out to say that I told you so or whatever.

At the end of the day I would say that most people on these various fan boards are not 4 star recruits or played professionally or Coached a Div 1 College team including myself so I think most of these Pro Athletes or Coaches dont cry themselves to sleep if a fan says they suck.

Of course I want perfection and effort but the other team plays too and has coaches that are paid to win so my whole point is I am nothing more then a crazed Steeler fan since 1978 that hopes that the Steeler legacy of being competitive consistently continues.

I always ask to the people who so badly want Tomlin fired..... that who would they want to replace him?

You see..the next great OC or DC usually is the sexy pick for a coach but even the Bellicheat disciple coaching tree have not put Lombardis in the Case every year.

Let me guess...Now that Andy Reid won the big game that people want him. lol

Dilly Dilly! Ugly W's still keep L's under their thumb! However, This better team (machine) better quit losing parts as its continuing to gel/mold/grow... whatever because it's getting out of control and it sucks and I can't stands anymore of it! Bunch of damn Shenanigans I say!!!

We all see flaws. The 08 team had flaws and eerily similar flaws in some instances. Call it luck and that's fine and dandy by me but I'll simply say the Steelers found a way to un**** themselves when it mattered most and doing so in crunch times is a character building SOB moving forward.

The refs gave us this game. They screwed the Ravens.

There should have been pass interference against the Steelers on the last play of the game.

The announcers heavily favored the Steelers.

Watt deliberately hurt the ankle if that lineman.

The Steelers got away with pick plays by their receivers all game.

Or, at least that’s what I read on a Ravens Message Board.

    Now don't be ridiculous!

Just when you are on a roll you go and make a silly statement that makes us all think you are delusional on purpose!

Really? I think Romo has purple pom poms in the booth. Clearly he wanted the Rats to win.

Well, they lost. So of course they'll grasp at straws.

Forget all the holds they got away with, or the multiple DPIs that went uncalled, or the most atrocious penalty I've ever seen to give them new life in the first quarter when things could have started snow balling for them.

Romo was gargling the Ravens' genitals all game, agreed with every call that went the Ravens way (and poo pooed calls going the Steelers way). Hell, he called an Illegal Procedure penalty against the Ravens (cut and dry dead ball call), "ticky tack!!!!"

A defender has every right to the ball as the receiver. So contact while going after the ball (which Minkah damn near intercepted) is ALLOWED.

And blaming someone on a clear accident is just... get your tinfoil hat out if you thought that was intentional.

Just general ramblings on your "non-green" (possibly should be green) assessment..

You know I am surprised the Ref did not add a few seconds when Cam went down at the end of the game, but then I am also surprised they did not eject Peters for not just 1, but 2 head butts on poor little DJ. Still a bit confused on the 12 man on the field. It sounds like they actually got that right, but really a stupid rule. You make the kick, the other team screws up, they make you re-kick it and possibly fail..it did not happen but today that 1 pt would have been huge.

Watts role on the lineman (or opposite) brought memory of Kimo's role into Carson Palmer and how Bengal fans were so outraged, though you could see Kimo's grief on the field for the accident.

Luck is the residue of design. LOL. But seriously, we have a balanced team that has several emerging stars. That is both lucky and good. Good things tend to happen when you play good.

You got to switch to sweet and spicy mustard and enjoy this season.

I don't have a problem with local announcers cheering on their team while broadcasting even though many of them are way over the top in doing so. I do have a problem with national broadcasters pulling out their rah rahs when they are supposed to be unbiased. Chris Collinsworth used to be real bad about it in his early years but he has gotten much better probably after realizing that his kitty cat Bengals were usually no match for the Steelers.

Dan Fouts and Dan Dierdorf were the worst Steelers haters back in the day. Even though I hated listening to them I usually had a big smile at the end of the game listening to their pouty melt downs as we cruised to another victory.

Romo was clearly rooting for the Ravens yesterday as I expected but listening to him broadcast games might have to be my new go to medicine for sleep deprivation. He's so boring he should be downgraded to a Rock Paper Scissors contest.

Our negativity is what is keeping the Steelers afloat. I'm guessing you and I will be going head to head in the Predict the score contest this week.
